Dario POV

Things were finally, finally falling into place for us. I was so thankful for that!! Eissa had all of his casts off and was back to being his crazy self. He loved having me around and Janet was letting me do a lot more stuff with him. We just went on a fishing trip this weekend. It was just the two of us. He had a lot of fun and ended up catching some fish. When we had gotten back, he couldn't contain his excitement. He had Janet laughing.

"Mommy the fish I caught was bigger than Mr. Darius fish!!!"

"Yeah whatever buddy. You wish."

"It was!! I'm better at fishing than you!"

"Oh you think so?!" I grabbed him roughing up his hair.

"Stop! I am better!"

"You wish!"

"You guys are a mess!" she laughed.

"Go take a bath you stink." I told him. He stuck his tongue out at me and Janet laughed again. He left out running to his room.

"I'll be back. I stink and need a shower too." I kissed her forehead.

"Okay babe."

I left her sitting on the couch in the living room and went into our bathroom. She followed me in there a short time later.

"It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun." she said hopping up and sitting on the counter.

"Yeah we did. He's a lot fun and super smart. He caught on pretty quickly."

"Sounds about right. You got any plans tonight?"

"Nope. I'ma be here with you guys."

"You know you may as well move in with how much you been here."

I stopped washing myself. "You serious?!" I asked her. I couldn't see her face as the shower door was fogged up. I was pleasantly surprised that she even brought it up. I loved staying with her when we were in town. Being with her when Eissa was recovering let me know how she was as a person without all of the back and forth of touring. And I knew we'd be fine living together...if we decided on that. I knew we would make it work and I knew she was crazy.

"I mean it's a thought. I like having you here."

"Umm...we can definitely talk about that more at length when I get out of the shower."

"That's fine."

***********

Rehearsals continued for old choreography and some of the new choreo for the upcoming tour. Janet and I were having the best time together. Just from that one night being back together and her expressing herself. It opened a lot of doors for us communication wise. Now I couldn't get her to be quiet. She wanted to talk all the time and about everything. She continued with therapy. You could see she was truly and finally happy.

It was amazing to see her face a lot of things that happened to her in the past that she had no control over or she was forced to do. It made me feel good that I could be part of that journey with her. I ended up going to some of her sessions as well. Her therapist thought it was a good idea in Janet's process. I'm glad I did go. It gave me more insight into her as person and vice versa. It also helped me understand her more as a person and myself as well.

We decided to wait on moving in together, but we still spent a lot of time together at each other's spots. She found she wasn't really ready for that just yet, but she knew eventually she wanted to. I was surprised she wanted to take that step with me, but it did make me happy.
