Gil POV

"Hey Gil you seen Cheeks anywhere?"

"Umm not yet. I'm sure she'll pop up."
 
I saw her, but he didn't have to know that.

"I been tryin to get up with her and she been ignorin me man. I think she even blocked me."

"Hmm are you sure?"

"Yeah man."

"Well she did tell you she got a man, right?"

"Ah man dat don't mean shit. I know she still got love for me."

"Yeah okay man whatever you say."

"What's that mean?"

"It means she's serious about the one she with. I know she told you that. Why aren't you listening?"

"Man she said the same thing bout the last guy in London and that didn't last."

"Well you can believe whatever you want, but she really serious about this one."

"And if that was true, why she come my spot and have dinner with me?"

"Umm she brought her son. It wasn't anything romantic. She was being nice. She was being a friend."

"Man whatever! Tell her to call or text when she gets in."

"Yeah whatever. You bout to be an ex friend if you don't calm that shit down."

"Look man just tell her to call me. I ain't tryna talk to you."

"Dude I'm not tryna talk to anyone that fumbled Janet."

Jermaine gave me a nasty look. I just flipped him off and walked away. Was Jermaine serious with this bullshit?! I can't believe he was talkin all this crap about him and her. I would make sure that didn't happen again. I knew he couldn't be trusted. I always knew he wasn't ready for what she was ready for when they were together. I knew he was cheating when they were together. Dippin tip in whatever moved. He was nasty. And she deserved better.

Plus I knew Booty was head over heels in love with Darius and Darius was the same with her. I've never seen anything like it before. Whatever happened with them on that island they both were still glowing from it. And she still wouldn't give me any details.

It made me hope and wish for something like that one day. I know for a fact she wasn't like this with Wissam. He was someone that was a rebound that she needed at that time to escape the mess that Jermaine had caused.

With her being single for a few years and having time to refocus on what was important to her, it made her regroup. So when Darius came into her life, it was different. She was ready for that commitment. I didn't know what mess or chaos JD was going to try, but whatever it was it wouldn't be good. 

Dario POV

"Babe yo phone keeps buzzing."

"Just ignore it. I'll check it in a bit. It could be anyone especially with the upcoming tour and the show tonight."

"Okay babe."

Her phone had been nonstop vibrating since we been in Vegas. Normally it wouldn't have bothered me, but she was being weird about it. It was the same thing like when we were in New York. It had calmed down for a bit, but now it was starting again.

Did I check it? Or did I trust her? I didn't want to be that guy because I knew I wouldn't want her checking my stuff like that. So I ignored it for now.

We had to do some interviews in a little bit, some stuff for Janet's videographer, and we had practice. I just got ready for that. But there was a gnawing feeling that was eating away at me. I didn't like it at all. Again I didn't want to have to kill anyone.
