Janet POV

"So umm I noticed that Maritza was a bit much with you when she was at the lounge."

Why was I being shy about this? Reluctant to talk about it? This was not me. I've never had an issue before saying how I felt. Other than being with Wissam, but that was a whole other situation. Does this man have me that messed up?

"Was she? What does that mean? I didn't notice anything."

"I'm not talking about drinking. I'm talking about how she was on you."

"Oh we are cool, but nothing crazy baby."

"Darius you cannot be that oblivious. She was all over you."

"Janet it wasn't serious."

I just glared at him. I know this man is playing with me right now!

"Darius." I rubbed my forehead. "You can't be for real right now."

"Janet I really think you making a big deal outta this."

"That's not how I see it. You had a fit when Mauldin and I were hanging out. Darius, I think she wants more than what you are able to give right now."

"I already told you it's not like that."

"You may not see it, but I do. She was all over you when we were hanging out in Hawaii. She wants more from you. I'm a woman I know these things better than you. And I can spot it better than you can. I understand you trying to be a good friend, but it's more than that from her. I knew it from when you spoke to her when Eissa was in the hospital."

"She's a friend nothing more. Are you jealous?" I sat up quickly glaring at him.

"Are you serious?!? Are fucking serious right now?"

I was gonna kill him. I was going to hide his body in the jungle in the Philippines where no one would find him. He really wanted to see Damita pop off on him which I had no problem doing.

"Look Darius it's not about that. I know what I saw and I know how I feel. She still wants to have a relationship with you. I'm just trying to talk to you. I feel like you are ignoring my feelings and being a jerk."

"She's just a friend. Nothing more. I don't know how many times I have to say it! Why are you acting like this?!"

"Why are you blowing me off? I can't even... You need to tell your little friend that you are in a relationship."

"She knows that!"

"She doesn't act like it! She was looking at me all crazy. Like I won't snatch her ass up. Did you tell her we're together?"

"I didn't say anything to her. She knows I'm in a relationship."

"She don't wanna play with me. I don't have time for mess Darius. If you don't want to be with me, just let me know so I can move on."

"Woooooww!!! How did we even get there?!?! It's not even like that!!! Janet...I'm not trying to fight with you. Look I will talk to her. Okay?" I didn't say anything. "Okay?"

I could only nod my head at that point. I was too heated and pissed off. He tried to hold my hand and I snatched it away leaving out the room. I walked away and went to find Gil.

Gil POV

"So have you and D talked about the whole thing with that girl being in his lap?"

"Yeah we did. He didn't see it the way I did. He thought I was overreacting actually and being unreasonable. He claims they are just friends. I just don't trust her!! She is up to something. I mean when she was all on him, she kept looking at me. I don't like her."
