It Just Happened

Dario POV

"Girl this hotel is a trip I've never seen anything like it."

She laughed.

"It's Japan baby. They are on another level than us." She said from the other room. I could hear she sounded hoarse.

"Hey you not feeling well are you?" I asked her as she walked into the living room area. I was lounging on the couch messing around on my phone.

"No."

"Come on lay on me."

"Okay."

She crawled on my lap snuggling into me. She sighed content. I massaged her scalp.

"Mmm that feels good."

We sat there quietly for a bit.

"What's going with you?"

"My head hurts and my body is so sore."

"Maybe you doin too much."

"Mm maybe."

"Did you fall asleep with the air conditioner on you again?"

"Yeah I did."

"You know you can't."

"I know. I have a sore throat from it."

She got quiet again, and I knew she had something on her mind.

"Darius."

"Yeah."

"I have to tell you something." she said sitting up facing me.

"What's up? I asked her caressing her cheek.

"So this guy contacted me that I had a quick fling with."

"Oh yeah!!" Her saying this piqued my interest.

"Yeah...umm I didn't want to say anything, but Gil insisted. It's really not a big deal."

"Well he's right and I'm glad you did. So what he say, this guy?"

"He just asked how I was doing and could we meet up."

"Hmm."

"That's all you gotta say?!"

"Well yeah."

"Seriously?"

"Well babe I'm not worried."

"Why?"

"Wait do you want me to be?"

"No, I thought you'd be. Just that...with some of the guys that I've dated I thought you'd more concerned is all."

"Look girl I told you I know I'm the best. What I do wanna know is why you got so many secrets?"

"You really think you're the best huh?" She giggled. "Umm I don't have a lot of secrets!"

"Yeah you do!"

"Hmm."

"Baby look not worried. I know I'm it for you."

"You have a very high opinion of yourself is what I think. What makes you think you all that and confident?"

"I know by the way you look at me and how you kiss me."

She just stared at me.  I could see she was trying to not smile.

"Look you're lucky we're together."

"Lucky?!"

"Yeah I don't know if you're on my level.
