Haejin's eyes opened to a sound coming from her phone, it was her alarm. She groaned, not wanting to wake up. She felt as if she had just fell asleep but the alarm proved her wrong by reminding her that it was already 6:30 in the morning. She got up, turning of the alarm and sulking in the process. As much as she wanted to sleep for some more time, she was reminded of the doctor's words that she needs to have a proper sleep schedule in order for her medicines to work and her hormonal imbalance to go away. And, she knew that if she would sleep for some more time, she would wake up no earlier than the noon.

Haejin looked to her right side, Minho still sound asleep, his back facing her. He would usually wake up around 7:00 am, a little later than her so seeing that he still had some time left, she pulled up his quilt and seeing how he snuggled into the quilt made her smile. After that, she got up from the bed and freshened up a bit. Just when she exited her room, she was greeted by Soonie and Dori. She smiled at the sight of the two cats, who made her morning better than ever. She kept baby talking to the cats, loving how they responded to every thing she would ask or tell them. She did grow fond of them in the time she had stayed here, and it made her realise why Minho loves the cats so much. Simply, because they are so loveable.

Haejin heard Minho's alarm go off, meaning it was already seven. "Oh, that's your dad's alarm.", she spoke to Soonie while petting him. She was seated on the couch in the living room, with Dori in her lap and Soonie on her side when Minho's alarm rang again. It had already been almost ten minutes since his alarm went off for the first time and according to what she has noticed in the past few weeks, he would always wake up at once, and sometimes even before seven. It was strange so she decided to wake him up, also because he had to go to the office. "I'll go wake up your lazy dad.", she said while lifting Dori from her lap, walking towards her room.

When Haejin opened the door, she was right. Minho was still sleeping and that sight of him looked so heavenly to Haejin. He slept so peacefully that for a good minute she did not want to wake him up and ruin his sleep. But, she couldn't actually do that as he was a working man and so, went to the bed and sat beside him.

"Hey, Minho.", Haejin spoke softly but Minho was so deep in sleep that he didn't hear her. She tapped his shoulder, calling for him again. "Wake up Minho, it's past seven." He whined like a kid on hearing that, replying her with the classic, "Just five minutes more, please."

Haejin laughed how he was acting just like a kid who would not want to get up and go to school. Complying with his, 'five minutes more' request, she just sat there, letting him sleep a bit more. She utilised that time in admiring his facial features, how his hair covered his forehead and made him look like an innocent being, how long and beautiful his lashes actually were and she was reminded of the time when Minho actually balanced a toothpick on his eyelashes and had won a silly bet they both had made, which resulted in Haejin having to treat him to a plate of tteokbeokki. She noticed how perfect of a nose he had, with a pointed nose bridge which actually made all of his other features shine too and finally, she noticed his pink and plump lips, the same lips which kissed her, not once but twice.

The kiss was always in Haejin's back of mind, regardless of whether or not Minho was around. As much as she would hate to admit, she just couldn't. She loved the kiss. Even if he kissed her just to comfort her or shush her up, she loved it. She loved it so much that she had been longing for his lips on hers ever since that day. And she realised, just how much accustomed she had become to his presence that she would be scared of sleeping alone at nights. Even if Minho would stay quite, she would be still grateful for his presence for she felt lonely and scared when he would not be there.
