"Drew, what a surprise. How can I help you?" Tracey politely greeted the emerald-eyed coordinator.

"I came here to drop off my Roserade. We were out training, and I think it could use some rest here if you don't mind," the LaRousse boy handed a Pokéball to the assistant.

"Of course," the Orange Islands companion received it without asking questions.

"Thank you. Until tomorrow, then," Drew thanked Tracey with a smile. The lab assistant bid him farewell, and the coordinator got on his way.

After Drew left, Tracey accompanied Professor Oak during his video conference with his colleagues. He was speaking to Professor Elm, Professor Birch, and Professor Rowan.

"Professor Oak, what can we do for you?" Professor Rowan asked with a serious tone.

"Yes, Professor Oak, has something happened?" Professor Elm asked.

"This must be important if you called all three of us," Professor Birch stated.

Oak gave them a nod. "You see, we encountered a Pokémon that is not native to the Kanto Region as far as I know. My assistant sketched this image of what we spotted, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was a creature native to Hoenn, Johto, or Sinnoh," the professor pondered over the experience. Then Oak presented Tracey's drawing to the other professors.

The three professors were puzzled by the Pokémon. "This is quite unusual. I've never seen a Pokémon with three heads in the Hoenn region, but..."

Rowan cut Birch off, "But you are not the first to report this sighting, professor. I have heard of eyewitness accounts of a creature that fits this description."

"The same goes for accounts in the Johto region," Elm added as they all rubbed their chins over the mystery.

"Exactly. Reports of something like this have sprung up in Hoenn, too," Professor Birch included.

"You don't say, please tell me more," Professor Oak wished to hear what they learned. The professors spoke into the long hours of the night over the accounts. Their findings were insufficient for concluding the Pokémon's origins. Professor Oak and Tracey were at a dead end yet again.

He took a few deep breaths to gain his composure. The coordinator closed his eyes and knocked on the door of Ash's home three times. Drew wasn't sure what to expect, but he hoped it would go favorably.

Ash opened the door with Pikachu on his shoulders. His eyebrows raised, "Drew!" The raven-haired boy exclaimed with surprise. Pikachu slightly glared at the male coordinator.

"Hi, Ash," the coordinator formed a confident grin. He refused to show any sign of doubt in front of the trainer.

May quickly appeared at the door to see him. She also looked surprised. The first thing that crossed Ash and May's minds was if he was here to make peace. The female coordinator didn't greet him. Instead, she said, "Drew, did you make a decision?" May crossed her arms with a serious face. Ash and Pikachu did not expect her to look so stern.

Drew nodded slightly. His face looked serious. "I did," Drew answered. Ash, Pikachu, and May waited for his answer with suspense. The coordinator formed a slight grin, "Ash, I'm sorry for my behavior." The trio in front of him were caught off guard by his statement. Drew's eyes turned from Ash to May, "May, I'm sorry for how I acted, too. You're my friend, and you deserve better. I want all of us to get along from this point forward."

"Drew..." May's eyes glistened with joy. She hugged her friend with relief. Drew was shocked that she'd hug him after everything he did, but he received her warmth. He returned the embrace with the same energy. The LaRousse coordinator held May without any intentions of romancing her. He embraced her as any friend would, with appreciation.
