Reservoir's POV
"KUYA, I've got a new friend!" Ocianna exclaimed, excitement filling her voice from the other end of the call.
"Good for you, Ocianna. Now please don't contact me if it's not that important. It's already 3 am here."
I'm not a strict brother pagdating sa dalawa kong babaeng kapatid. Because for me, they need to feel pain, despair, love, and all the emotions they need to be themselves. Siguro ay papasok lang ako sa buhay nila kapag sobrang kailangan na.
I'm Reservoir Cartier. I'm Lakesyr Cortez's twin. My mom and dad fought before we were born — and because my dad wanted to have a son, my mom changed my last name to hers just to piss him off.
I've always lived in another country with my grandparents since I feel like going to the Philippines is not my thing. The weather there sucks, the food is not my cup of tea, and the people there are not my type. But my family loves to live in that country since my father is the chief of a town located there, and of course, Ocianna can't live by herself, and my twin loves to travel across different countries, so we never really had that sibling bond.
"Kuya, I'll send you our picture!"
I sjghed before answering her. "Oh, sure. I'll hung up now. May pasok pa ako bukas."
"Okay, I love you!"
"Love you, too," sagot ko bago tuluyang pinatay ang tawag.
I had always admired Ocianna. She always got bullied because of being the daughter of the chief of the town. Sinasabi nila na magnanakaw raw kami ng kaban ng bayan pero walang pakialam si Ocianna.
Dahil sa ginawa ni Ocianna na panggugulo ay hindi na ako nakatulog kaya naman tinignan ko na lang ang picture na s-in-end n'ya sa akin. "She's lovely, as always," I murmured to myself while looking at Ocianna. She always had that big smile that will make you love her.
My gaze shifted to the other girl, and I was shocked to find her beautiful. I wasn't used to liking girls because I didn't find them pretty, but this one caught my attention.
"BRO!" malakas na tawag ni Daemon at nakipagkamay sa 'kin. He knows how to speak Tagalog and English dahil nanggaling s'ya sa Pilipinas nang ilang taon bago lumipat dito.
"Ingay mo naman," asik ni Lance na kararating lang. He's my cousin and he knows Tagalog, too because his father is a Filipino and they taught him how to speak that language.
"Yo!" bungad naman na sabi ni Agni na kararating pa lang sa secret spot namin.
Recess kasi ngayon kaya naman napagpasyahan namin na magkita-kita. Magkakaiba kami ng section kaya naman minsan lang din kami magkita-kita kaya naman kapag nakikita-kita kami ay parang laging may party.
"I have pizza here, want some?" Agni offered kaya naman kumuha kami agad sa pizza na dala-dala nito.
Habang nagkukwentuhan ay bigla na lang tumunog ang cellphone ko na agad kong kinuha. Nag-chat lang pala sa 'kin si Ocianna and sent me a picture of them. Agad namang nakiusyosyo ang mga kaibigan ko at tinignan ang ka-chat ko, hoping it's a girl.
"Wow, bro, that girl in the right is fucking beautiful!" Agad akong napatingin nang masama kay Agni dahil sa sinabi n'ya sa kapatid ko.
"No, not my sibling, Allard." Agad naman itong napanganga sa sinabi ko kasama ni Daemon na ngayon lang nalaman na may kapatid akong babae.
"What do you mean? You have a sister?!" tanong pa nito sa 'kin na tinanguan ko, while Lance was just enjoying the drama
"Yea, I do."
"Still, she's pretty!" He smirked at me and ate his pizza.
Everyday, Ocianna sends me their photos, and everyday, I'm mesmerized by her friend's beauty. I wish I can see it in person, I really fucking wish.
I was 25 when I secretly went to the Philippines for the first time. Well, I haven't done this before because why would I? My friends know about this because I don't want to put myself in danger just by going here without them knowing.
I went here just to see the Hoax Forest that they're talking about. I was curious about the things they say about the place. Daemon said I'm crazy, Lance didn't care, and Agni said cool and wanted to go with me, so here I am with him.
Gabi na kami nakapasok sa Hoax Forest kaya naman nagtayo na si Agni ng tent. Dahil wala naman akong alam about sa gan'yan ay hinayaan ko na lang s'ya at naglibot-libot. Hindi naman gano'n kalayo ang napuntahan ko ngunit may natanaw akong pigura na kalalabas lang sa isang cabin. I know her, she's Ocianna's friend, Alice.
Agad itong naglakad paalis sa cabin habang wala man lang hawak-hawak na flashlight kaya naman out of nowhere ko s'yang sinundan. I don't know kung kasama n'ya ba si Ocianna dito pero sa tingin ko'y hindi. Ocianna would never go to this dangerous place, but why is she here?
I was shocked when I saw a lake inside the Hoax Forest where she stopped. I didn't know about this, I know I didn't search further pero kahit papaano ay dapat lumabas ito agad dahil isa ito sa magagandang makikita sa loob ng Hoax Forest.
Nabigla ako nang biglang tinanggal n'ya ang damit n'ya kaya naman agad akong napaiwas ng tingin at mabilis na naglakad palabas. But I took one last peek and saw her naked before I immediately ran to our tent. Agni was confused when he saw me, pawis na pawis ako at hinihingal na umupo sa lapag. Tinanong pa ako ni Agni pero hindi ko s'ya sinagot hanggang sa makatulog na kami.
Pagkagising ay sinabi ko ang lugar kay Agni kung saan ko nakita si Alice na agad naman naming niliguan. Ilang araw din kaming nandoon dahil sa gusto namin ng fun and adventure. Ilang araw ko na ring tinitignan ang cabin kung saan nandoon ang kaibigan ni Ocianna pero mukhang wala na s'ya kaya naman pumasok ako sa loob and I was shocked to see all the torturing devices inside.
I guess... I fell in love with her even more.
Nakakita ako ng isang notebook na agad kong binuksan at do'n ko nalaman na may plano pala si Alice na pumatay na ikinangiti ko lang bago ako umalis do'n. Nilinis ko pa ang mga lugar na hinawakan ko para hindi ito magtaka o kung ano pa man.
A psycho — I want her to be mine! We will be a perfect couple. Sa diary ko rin nalaman ang favorite n'yang kulay kapag pumapatay s'ya. Nakalagay ito sa likod ng notebook na iyon kaya naman agad akong naghanap ng white suit.
When Daemon and Lance found out what I was doing, they just laughed and said they will help me get her, while Agni was doing his best to make Ocianna fall for him. I didn't mind, basta wala s'yang sasabihin na kahit na ano sa tatay ko.
I told Daemon what Alice likes and her types kaya naman ginawa n'ya ang sinabi ko. Kahit na hindi s'ya talaga mahilig sa mga mystery at patayan ay nanood s'ya para may alam s'ya kapag nag-usap na sila ni Alice. Pinagaya ko naman kay Lance ang paraan ko ng paglalakad at pananalita. Since he's a model and an actor, he was able to perfectly copy my mannerisms. Plus the fact that we're cousins, so kahit na hindi n'ya ako gano'n kopyahin ay makikita pa rin ang similarities namin.
As time went on, I was getting closer to Alice. She even called me by my name, and it made me so happy! I felt happy, at the same time, aroused. I felt like I was in heaven! We had so much fun.
What got me more on cloud nine? It's the fact that we kissed two times!
I will make you mine even if it means killing my own father, Alice.
