Sahil arrived at the hospital consumed by thoughts of Nathaniel's sudden avoidance. Determined to unravel the mystery, he promptly texted Ping,he didn't want to waste any time, arranging to meet later that night. Expecting to get a few answers to his so many questions.

The day dragged on for Sahil, each passing hour adding to his anticipation. When evening finally descended, he felt a wave of relief wash over him as he closed up his work and headed to the designated meeting spot.

Arriving early, Sahil waited anxiously for Ping to arrive. After what felt like an eternity, he spotted Ping approaching and greeted him warmly.

"Hello, Ping," Sahil said, gesturing for him to sit down. "Please, order whatever you like."

"Thanks," Ping replied, a nervous smile playing on his lips. "I won't keep you long. What did you want to talk about?"

Sahil chuckled at Ping's directness. "Straight to the point, huh? I wanted to talk about Nathaniel. He's been avoiding me lately, and I need to understand why. He didn't even wait for me this morning."

Ping nodded, understanding the gravity of Sahil's concern. "Do you have feelings for my friend?" he asked bluntly.

Sahil hesitated for a moment before admitting, "I think I do."

"Then you need to be patient with him," Ping advised. "He's been through a lot of pain in the past, and his heart and soul are still healing. If you want to win him over, you'll need to help him mend the broken pieces."

Sorry but that's all I can tell you right now, if you want to know everything wait for NAT to tell you , because it is his story and even though am his best friend I have no right to reveal his deepest secrets. I hope you won't ask again about this Sahil, ping finished.

But if he ever decides to open up to you and you hurt him,I will kill you myself..ping added in a very serious tone.

Sahil listened intently, feeling a mixture of confusion and determination stirring within him. "Thank you," he said sincerely. "I'll do my best.

As Ping finished his juice and bid Sahil goodbye, Sahil couldn't shake the weight of Ping's final warning: "If you ever hurt him, I will kill you myself."

While driving home, Sahil received a call from Dr. James, saying he was at his house. He was glad because Dr. James was the only one he could talk to about so many things, so he hurried home.

He reached home and quickly went to the terrace where he knew James liked to hang out. "Hello, Dr. James. What a pleasure to see you here," Sahil said.

"I observed you at the hospital today, and you seemed off, so I knew something was bothering you. I'm here to listen," Dr. James said.

Sahil told Dr. James about everything that had happened since the morning, from Nat avoiding him to the conversation he had with Nat's best friend. He also explained how Ping's words confused him.

"Do you like this boy?" James asked.

"I'm not sure. I really didn't get time to explore my feelings for him, and with how he's avoiding me, I don't know what to do," Sahil replied.

"Jesus, Sahil, you're a psychiatrist. How did you even pass your final test to be a psychiatrist when you can't even put logic together?" James said.

"Why are you saying that, James?" Sahil asked.

"It's obvious that the boy has feelings for you, but there is something obstructing him from being with you. He's pushing you away to avoid those feelings from growing. Now, as a man in love and as a doctor, it's your job to identify what's obstructing him so you can help him overcome it and be with him in peace," Dr. James explained.

"I didn't think of that," Sahil said with a chuckle. "Thank you so much. I don't know what I would do without you."

Dr. James bid goodbye to Sahil, and as he was about to enter the car, he turned around and said, "Before you enter into a relationship with him, make sure he knows everything about your past, unless it will break him if he finds out later." Dr. James entered the car and drove away, leaving Sahil with a saddened heart, thinking of how a principled man like Nat would react if he found out about Sahil's past, especially the incident where he accidentally harmed someone.
