Pic above is Missy in the cheerleading practice outfit.

Missy's POV

I walked into the gymnasium flinging the doors open. "Alright you lazy bitches. I hope you stretched already because we're getting into formation right now. The first game of the season is in a month and we are playing Hazeltucky which means we need to cream their asses both on the court and at halftime. I heard their new head cheerleader is a professional gymnast which means their stunts are going to be extreme. Which means ours needs to be epic. So places ladies!"

I know you might be wondering why a ninth grader is leading a squad filled with girls of every grade from ninth to twelfth. Well I'm the most qualified one for the job. I've been cheering since I could walk and talk. Not to mention I was a rhythm gymnast for six years so yeah, overqualified.

"One two three! Pyramid! Go!" The girls did a perfect pyramid, compete with me on top, doing a scorpion.

Suddenly the doors opened and I heard a raspy voice. A raspy voice I loathed so much. "Alright you mouth breathers. Let's run some drills till coach comes in," no other than Lynn Loud said.

The team came to a screeching halt when they saw us.

Like the idiots they were a lot of the ninth graders and some of the tenth started blushing. Yep. They all had a crush on Lynn Loud and I of course had to sit there and endure the endless conversations about her. I mean sure she had a nice smile and she's not bad to look at but she's still just a person.

"Uh. Why are you guys here? Don't you usually train on the field?" Lynn asked.

"We do but we have a cheer off in a month in here at the halftime game so we have to be here," I said, as I did a double front flip to get off the pyramid.

"If anything why don't you guys train on the field?" "That makes no sense," she argued.

"Guys. Guys. There's no need to argue. Why don't we just share the space," Natalie said. She was totally in love with Lynn. It made me sick to my stomach.

"The hell we can," I said and Lynn and I got into it until both our coaches blew their whistles.

"Calm down! All of you. We're going to share the space," the basketball coach said. "Ladies first for an hour then us for two," the coach said before rubbing noses with the cheerleading coach.

Both the basketball team and the cheerleading teams gagged.

Lynn rolled her eyes as I smirked since we got to go first.

Lynn's POV

I was super annoyed by the time we finally started and it showed. My passes were quicker and harder, my movements were way more aggressive, resulting in my teammates complaining.

"Easy LJ. I'm not the net. You don't have to throw it so hard," Margo groaned as the ball hit her.

I let out a loud huff.

Coach ended practice early and stopped me as I was about to leave.

"Loud. What the heck was all that aggression about?" "Sorry coach. Just super pumped for the playoffs this season."

"Yeah well tone it down. We won't have playoffs if half my team members are injured."

"Yeah. Sorry coach."

I changed out of my soccer uniform and into my tracksuit then got on the bus.

I was in a bad mood so I didn't speak to my friends like I normally did. I merely muttered a goodbye at my stop and went inside.

I slammed the door shut and threw my bag on the ground. "Shit!" I yelled but Luna's loud guitar tune drowned it out. "Easy! There are kids present, she said, referring to Lola, Lana, Lisa and Lily. "Oh please all of them swear except for Lily."

"Fair point," Luna shrugged.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a soda, finishing it in one go.

"Damn. Alright I'll bite. What's up?" Luna asked.

"You know Missy Samuels?"   "Pretty niner. Super popular and bitchy?" Luna asked.    "That's the one," I confirmed.

"What about her?"    "Well I have to do a huge end of term project with her and it's worth 40% of my final grade and if I don't do it I'll have to repeat my English class next semester," I groaned loudly.

"Okay dude first of all stop groaning. It's really annoying. Second of all it's not the end of the world. Shit happens. Besides you're Lynn Loud. There's nothing you can't do."

I smiled, my dimples showing. This was why Luna was secretly my favorite sister. No one gave better advice.

"Thanks Luna," I said before going upstairs.

I did my homework, ate dinner, showered, texted Margo for a bit then went to bed with Luna'a words in mind.   "You're Lynn Loud. There's nothing you can't do."
