Today was the most important day of Lola's life.
It was the day of the Little Miss Michigan pageant which meant that the best eight to ten year old girls in the state of Michigan were here to compete for the title and the crown.
Lola had competed with a couple of the contestants in past pageants and many of them were extremely talented and well read.
Lola was too but she would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous.
Lincoln had just finished curling Lola's hair and Leni was now going to begin her makeup.
Lincoln had moved on to organizing all the outfits she would need for the day. Her introduction gown, her talent outfit, her question and answer gown and the final gown of the segment.
Leni had made all four outfits. It had taken her weeks to get all of them to perfection but she had done it and the end results were fabulous.
Once Leni finished her makeup, Lola had gone to change into her dress.
Lola stepped out from the changing room to show her family.
She was wearing a beautiful puffy, sparkling blue dress that made her eyes pop.
She had her hair pinned up with a few curls falling around the frame of her face.
"You look stunning dude!" Luna said. "Doesn't she look like a mini Cinderella?" Leni asked.
"She does!" Everyone started agreeing. "Thanks," Lola smiled.
"Now everyone get out. I need to get in the zone," Lola said.
Everyone understood and started to leave but she grabbed Lana's hand.
"Not you. I'm totally nervous. What if I blow it out there?"
"You're not gonna blow it. You're super talented and pageants are your thing. Just count the trophies," Lana said to her twin.
"Yeah but so are the other girls. Lindsay Sweetwater is literally a world class gymnast and Ashley Rosedale has been ranked in the top five best tap dancers in the state."
"But you know what none of those girls that you just mentioned are?"
"What?" Lola asked.
"They're not you. Don't worry. You got this girl," Lana said and hugged her twin.
"Thanks Lans," Lola said.
A petite blonde woman came and announced that all the pageant girls were to make their way backstage.
"Alright well that's me," Lola said. "Just remember you're a star," Lana said before going to the audience.
The Louds sat in the audience, eagerly awaiting Lola to make her appearance.
In all, there were fifteen girls and they called them in alphabetical order so Lola was going to be called somewhere in the middle.
After six girls, Lola was announced. She did her ballroom walk across the platformed stage.
The Loud family yelled and applauded as the announcer introduced the contestants by the titles they entered the competition with.
Of course Lola was Little Miss Royal Woods.
As they continued to announce the other girls, Missy stood at a distance, looking for the Loud family.
