Now on to the story ❤️

Author's POV

It was currently lunch time at Royal Woods High and Missy, Natalie, Bridgette and Rachel sat together having lunch.

Missy couldn't stop thinking about the past weekend. She spent the whole day Saturday with Lynn and her family and she loved every minute of it. She especially loved that Lynn won her a giant pink teddy bear for her room.

"Seriously dude you still sound disgusting. You're obviously still sick. You should have just stayed home," Bridgette said.

"I couldn't and let Missy steal my place with Lynn again?"

"Excuse me?"     "Saturday. I'm sick and you just happened to go to Dairyland where I was supposed to spend the day with Lynn? Come on. I wasn't born yesterday."

"Lynn and I are friends and how dare you accuse me after I set you up with the chick? You are so ungrateful," Missy fired at Natalie.

"Ungrateful! Bitch you have some nerve. You know I think you only helped me get Lynn to get closer to her."

"Ok. That has got to be the dumbest thing you have ever said and that's saying a lot because you say a lot of dumb shit," Missy sneered.

"Guys please stop. You're making a scene," Bridgette said to her two best friends but both girls ignored her.

"Fuck you. You just want my girlfriend all to yourself."

"No I don't. Believe it or not, not everybody is in love with Lynn Loud. The reason I'm hanging out with her a lot is because we're project partners and friends. Just friends. Say it with me. Friends,"

"Yeah right. I know how you are Missy. This is just like when we were in the sixth grade and you set Bridgette up with her first boyfriend and then you kissed him at the school dance. That is who you are," Natalie said.

Missy raised her hand and slapped Natalie across her face.

The whole cafeteria went dead silent at the sound of Missy's hand connecting with Natalie's cheek.

Natalie sat stunned while Missy fled the room.

Not wanting to deal with the stares or judgment from her fellow schoolmates, Missy snuck away from school and went home.

When Missy went home she locked herself in her bedroom and cried herself to sleep.

Lynn's POV

After school Natalie was at her locker pacing. The halls were scattered as most people had gone home but Natalie couldn't calm down.

She wouldn't tell me what exactly she had said to Missy that caused Missy to slap her. All I knew was that it had something to do with me, according to Margo.

"Calm down babe. Hey look at me," I said and lifted her chin so we were face to face.

"I like you ok and nothing and no one will ever change that."

"Are you sure? Cause I mean we haven't even had our first kiss yet not that I'm saying that we need to feel pressured into kissing but I'm just saying that——"
