When I got home after the party I was on edge. I couldn't sleep. Natalie was pissed at me, Bridgette wasn't answering her phone which wasn't surprising, considering it was 2am.
I took a quick shower and changed into an oversized pink t-shirt.
Maybe Lakergirl will be up. I thought.
Autumn: U up?
I waited a full thirty minutes but of course I got no reply.
Sighing, I turned on Netflix, hoping to take my mind off things.
Lynn's POV
I woke up at 11am the next morning to see a text from Autumn.
Autumn: U up?
Lakergirl: No. I was asleep. It was 2:30. What's up?
Autumn: I just wanted to talk.
Lakergirl: Ok. I just woke up. How was your Saturday?
Autumn: Damn. Someone had fun. My Saturday sucked. My best friend is pissed at me
Lakergirl: 😂 I went to a party. Why is your best friend mad at u?
Autumn: It's stupid. I kissed her crush
Lakergirl: Bitch
Autumn: Hey! That's not nice. It was a game. I had to.
Lakergirl: What kind of game let's you kiss your best friend's crush?
Autumn: The fun kind 😏 but on a serious note I don't know what to do. She won't answer my call or texts
Lakergirl: Go to her house
Autumn: No. She goes to church on Sundays and she'll probably just slam the door in my face
Lakergirl: Damn. Ok well talk to her at school. Wait till she's alone so she can't ignore or avoid you
Autumn: Damn. That's solid advice. Thanks. I'm gonna go eat breakfast
Lakergirl: Same. I'm starving 😭
Autumn and I spent the day just talking about random things.
I was really having fun with her and I didn't even mind that I didn't know who she was. I think that made our relationship more genuine if that made sense.
Luna's POV
I was strumming my guitar when Luan walked into our room.
"Ugh. I'm never drinking again," she groaned as she plopped into bed.
I laughed. "That's what you get. Though everyone seemed to enjoy drunk you."
"Really?" She mumbled into the pillow?" "Yeah. My phone has been blowing up with memes and videos of you on click clock."
She sat up and looked at my phone. "Wow!" She took her phone from under her pillow and looked at her notifications. "Holy shit! My comedy page followings doubled because of it!" "I'm gonna be booked out for the rest of the year!" "Glad you could turn your drunken mess into something successful," I said as I continued strumming my guitar.
Lynn's POV
Autumn: When did you say ur big championship game was again?
Lakergirl: Two weeks from now
Autumn: R u ready?
Lakergirl: No but my team and I will be. The team we're playing are our biggest competitors but I know we have what it takes to beat them
Autumn: Nice. I'm nervous too. We have our big cheer off in two weeks. It's supposed to set the tone for cheer season. We're hoping to make it to regionals next year.
Lakergirl: You will. I have faith in you
Autumn: You don't even know me
Lakergirl: I know enough to know that ur talented and special and I like you
Autumn: Awww you're making me blush ☺️
Lakergirl: 😂
Autumn: Will you send me a pic of your trophy after you win?
Lakergirl: 😂 sure wbu?
Autumn: What about me?
Lakergirl: Will I get to see your trophy?
Autumn: I won't be getting a trophy
Lakergirl: Then what's the point?
Autumn: Well we have to cheer on all our school's sports teams and it's like practices for us
Lakergirl: Kkl. Maybe I'll come and watch you cheer one day
Autumn: For that to happen I'd have to tell you which school I cheer at and if I did that it would ruin or anonymity
Lakergirl: Oh yeah.
Autumn: R we gonna stay anonymous forever?
Lakergirl: I don't know
Autumn: Do you want to?
Lakergirl: 🤷🏽♀️ do u
Autumn: Someday I'd like a big reveal but only when we're both ready
Lakergirl: That seems fair
Autumn and I continued to text until 10 when we both decided to go to bed since we both had school the next day.
