Luna's POV

"Guys come on! Think! My and Sam's anniversary is on Friday so I wanna do something special Friday night," I said to Leni and Luan.

The three of us sat in mine and Luan's room.

"Why don't you guys do what you did for your first date? Leni suggested, twirling her hair.

"No. We went to a Mick Swagger concert for our first date and I kind of wanted something more intimate. Just the two of us, plus Mick Swagger's on tour out of the country."

"Well what does Sam like to do?" Luan asked.

"She loves music and concerts obviously. Romance movies, the beach, water parks, karaoke, and farm animals."

"Well maybe you guys could go to the beach!" Leni perked up.  "Oooh and have a picnic," Luan chimed in.

"No guys. It's the middle of November and——"

"Wait! That's genius! We could have a moonlit picnic by the beach and I know the perfect spot."

"Thanks Leni!" I jumped out of my bed and threw my arms around her.

"Thanks Luan."

I immediately began planning out all the foods I was going to carry to the picnic.

*******

The week went by fast and before I knew it, it was Friday morning which meant it was officially two years since Sam and I have been a couple.

I woke up extra early because I wanted to look extra nice for Sam.

I chose a lilac spaghetti strap top with a white pleated skirt, a lilac jacket, white sneakers and paired it with silver jewelry.

I put on my makeup and applied some perfume that I knew drove Sam crazy.

"Oohhh! You look hot," Leni commented seeing my outfit.

"Thanks. Do you think Sam will like it?" "Are you kidding? She won't be able to take her eyes off you," Leni said.

"Perfect," I smiled.

Author's POV

"Hey sweetie. You look nice today. Is today a special day or something?" Rita Loud asked her third eldest daughter with a knowing smirk, as she sat down for breakfast.

"It's mine and Sam's anniversary today so I wanted to look extra special for her."

"What are you guys gonna do?" Lola asked.

"You should take her to the zoo," Lana spoke up.

"Yeah cause all girls love seeing filthy animals," Lola said with an eye roll.

"It's a surprise," Luna said.    "Can I guess? I'm great at surprises," Lincoln said.

"No," Luna said and ate her cereal.    "Well whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be great," Lincoln said.

"Hey dad can I borrow Vanzilla tonight? I need it for my surprise," Luna said.

"Sure. Just don't be out too late," Lynn Sr said.
