Ch. 5
I Promise
*Niall's POV*
As I saw Claire leave for their house to put Addie to bed I walked in to Sean's room.
I walked in and I got chill down my back, there were beeping noises every where. I saw Sean just there in the bed
it broke me, he was my best friend he was like a another brother. We did everything
together. He was the closest friend I have and will ever have in my whole life, the lads
don't really count they are my 4 best friends that are dumb ass holes and I love to them
death.
"Hey Niall it's nice to see you mate!" Sean said in a weak voice.
"Same to you Sean! How are you feeling?"
"I have had better days, I fell like today or tomorrow is the day"
"Sean don't say that!" I said, hating how we was ready to give up.
" Niall give it up, I know it's going to happen soon. The doctor told me what I have and said I didn't have much
more time!
"Sean, don't say it like you're losing hope!"
"I have been losing hope, I have been stuck here in the room that smells like shit!" he explained mad.
"What ever you do, don't lose hope for Addie!" I tried telling him.
"I know....did Claire tell you?"
" ya she told me...."
"Are you mad at me at all?"
"I was but know its fine I know you guys were doing what was best for her I,
understand"
"Thanks Niall that means a lot to me" Sean tells me.
"Sean, I should be the one thanking you. You are the one that took care of my little
princess when I couldn't be there for her."
"It's not that big of a deal that's what best friends are for I mean she was the perfect
child, you and Claire will do a good job."
"Your the one that raised her," I tell Sean.
"Excuse me, Mr. Horan it is past visiting hours I'm going to have to ask you to leave"
said the nurse.
"Oh ok, I will see you tomorrow Sean!"
"Hope so, bye Niall! Take care of the girls for me!"
"Don't worry I will...I promise I will"
