Ch. 35
Christmas
*Claire's POV*
This was my first Christmas with Niall with Addie and Ashton. This is the first time
that I was spending Christmas with his family. Niall had told me that his family had
weird traditions but i didn't care. When we get to Niall's parents house his dad Bobby
greeted me with a big hug Maura is on the kitchen making cookies i decided to go in
and help her while Niall took Addie and Ashton and went to the family room with his
dad and they were talking. When you heard you name come up you listen in. They
were talking about our future and his dad told him to make sure to have at least five
grandchildren i can't help but laugh, I mean he already has two for Niall. Niall peaks
around the coroner and see me laughing. We both back into the kitchen to help Maura
start to decorating Christmas cookies and Niall wraps his arms around my waist.
Maura over and hits Niall in the head with a spoon yelling
"Niall James Horan didn't get to touchy we didn't want any more grandchildren as are
Christmas present"
i can't help but laugh. Greg was at the airport so his parents go drive to the airport. So
Niall and I are left alone with Addie and ashton so i put on a ELF and cuddle on the
coach and the kids on the floor with pillows and blankets. Then i heard Maura yell
"Niall James Horan didn't get to touchy we didn't want any more grandchildren as are
Christmas present" i can't help but laugh again.
I got up and popped some popcorn while me and Niall cuddled on the coach eating
popcorn and watching ELF and other Christmas movies. The kids had fallen a sleep on
the floor and We left them there so we didn't want to wake them up.
When Maura, bobby and Greg came home Niall and i fell asleep cuddled up in the
cutest way probable. So Greg decided to tweet a picture of it. When we both wake I
checked my phone and I have thousands of pop ups. Niall sees the picture and runs
up and wanted to kill Greg but he said we looked fine in it. It made us look like bad
parents it was a picture of Niall and I on the couch and Addie and Ashton on the floor,
great job Claire.

Today was Christmas Eve and Niall's family had a traction that every Christmas Eve
they would go to the zoo and walk around the zoo lights. I walked around with Niall
hand in hand trying to stay away from paps. Maura and Bobby were holding Addie's
and Ashton's hands. I loved the zoo because this is the only place that you get to see
our favorite animal the giraffe. They had about a ten foot tall giraffe made out of
lights and we had to get a family picture.
Niall put it up on twitter and tweeted
"@claireoffical ,me , the kidos and the zoo with our new friend mr giraffe. I love you
princess xxxx"
when we get home you both go change into you pjs and walk back do stairs to see
Maura, Greg and bobby all wearing matching pj you look at Niall and he says
" I forget to tell you we all have to wear matching pjs on Christmas Eve sorry princess"
Maura comes up to me and Niall with a bag in her hand and she pulled out snowman
and reindeer matching pjs for Niall and me and snow princess ones for Addie and
Ashton Santa hats for Ashton. We all go back up and change into our matching pjs
and comeback down stairs.
By the time you get downstairs Maura made us all hot chocolate with
marshmallows and had cookies and popcorn for all of us. At about nine o'clock they
yell "karaoke!!!!"
Niall buried his face into his hands because he hated when his parents did
this.
"Niall it's fine we will have to go though this every year now. I promise
every year I will try my best not to laugh."
Niall go to the kitchen to get food and Greg yells "look up Niall" we both looked up
and see mistletoe above you. Maura grabbed her camera to make sure she caught the
moment. Niall and I just stand there awkwardly.
"turn around!!!" Niall yells
They all turned around and Addie and Ashton closed there eyes and made gagging
noises. Niall and i had our first mistletoe Christmas kiss. Then we both go back to
eating food. The kids had fallen asleep on the floor so maura said to just let them
sleep there. About 11 I went up to Niall's room while Niall has to sleep on the couch
because my parents called to make sure that you weren't sleeping in the same room as
Niall but at about 1 and Niall come in bed with you.

When i wake up Niall is jumping on the bed like a five year old yelling
"its Christmas! princess its Christmas!!"
Addie or Ashton weren't even doing that. I look out the window and see it is snowing.
By the time you get down stair Maura had made Niall's favorite breakfast,
bacon ,eggs ,French toast ,pancakes, and waffles you sit at the island and eat you
breakfast the. It is time to open presents. When we finished opening presents Niall
takes you outside his mom, dad, and the kids are at the back door watching us. When
We got the backyard you see Niall had written something in the snow when I
read it you turn around and see Niall on one knee and a small box and asks
" Claire princess will you do the Horner of marrying and be my princess forever?"
"Yes!!"
Then Niall pulls me in for a kiss and while this was happening his mom was taking
picture but i really didn't mind. When you walk in Niall says
"mum I guess you Christmas present will be more grandchildren!"
That was the best Christmas that I have ever had.
