Ch. 26
British Tears
*Claire's POV*
Nearly everyone had left the party but Wyatt's mum was running a little late but that's
okay. Wyatt is such a sweet boy he even offered to help me put away things. I just think
he wanted more cake. He was so loving to everyone at the party. Even when some girl
took his football he just walked and got a different one. I don't even think me and my
brother did that. He was always nice around us. I hope him and Addie stay friends. I
hear the doorbell ring. I turned back to the living room and saw Addie trying to have
Wyatt hide under a blanket. I slightly laugh at it. I remembered all the times that I
would hide from my mum in Niall's room and how he would hide in the closet from his
mum. It brought back so many memories from sleepovers, to playing football in the
backyard.
"Hello Mrs. Ross how are you?"
"I'm fine, how was Wyatt's behavior?" she asked.
"He was a little angel, you just might have a problem taking him home."
"Why's that?"
I walk in to the the living room with Mrs. Ross following right behind me. I see Addie
sitting in the rocking chair watching Micky Mouse. I walk right in front of her and she
just has a giant smirk in her face.
"Addison."
"Ya," She said with an even bigger smirk and her eyes glued to the Telly.
"Where's Wyatt?" I ask her.
She just sat there quiet, not making a peep.
"Wyatt needs to go home, it's getting late and it's almost bedtime. You have another
big big tomorrow."
"What are we doing?" She asks with a confused look.
"You and Ashton and daddy are going to see grandpa at a cafe."
"Maybe I want to stay here and play with Wyatt."
"Wyatt is going home right now so you are going to bed."
Wyatt pops out from be hide the love seat and over to his mum.
"Bye Addie, I will see you layer."
Addie walk over to him and embraces him in a hug. I was so sweet to know that she
cares.
"You can come over later, how about after we come back from your trip from America
you can come over and play. Sound like a plan?" Kathleen explained to Addie.
"Okay, bye Wyatt" she walks up and hugs him.
"I will see you soon. Goodbye."
With that Wyatt left with Mrs. Ross. Addie walked back to her room and went to bed. I
felt bad that they had to be apart for so long. This is normal for Addie and Ashton now.
