Ashton
*Claire's POV*
Niall set me down and walked away. I didn't know where he was going until he
stopped in front of this little boy, he looked Addie's age. He had blonde hair and green eyes.
He was cute. What was he doing in a hospital in the ER center?!? What happened?!?
Oh my god I have to go see.
*Niall's POV*
I walked over to the little boy. He's hair was a light blonde and he's green eyes sparkle.
He's eyes were red like mine and Claire's like he was crying.
"Hey, little guy I'm Niall. What's your name?"
"Hi, I'm A-sh-ton," he replied scared.
"Hey Aston, what wrong bud?" I asked him.
"My mommy and daddy are hurt," he said his tone becoming sad.
I look to the nurse and asked what happened to what she responded,
"His parents were in a car accident and are on life support and he will have to go up for
adoption later this week."
"Why can't he live with his grandparents or an aunt or uncle?" I asked in disbelief.
"He parents were both only children so he doesn't have any aunt or uncles," she explained.
"What about grandparents?" I tried to reason.
"Three have died and the only one living in Australia and can't support a child."
"So he has to go up adoption" I asked again.
"Yes, unless they is a family member or a family friend willing to take him in," she said sadly.
"I'll take him!" I said in a rush.
"I'm sorry sir you can't do that!" the nurse told me.
"Why can't I !" I asked angrily.
"You are not a family member or a family friend"
"So I will adopt him!"
"Ummm...okay you have to go tho the adoption program and may want to ask your wife if
that's okay"
"My wife?!?" I asked surprise.
"Sir she's standing right behind you"
I turn around and see Claire standing right behind me. Her arms are crossed and had a
mad look on her face. I walked over to talk to her.
"Claire I know what your thinking but-"
"Niall you can't support a child! You have a tour coming up and are gone must of the
time"
"I know but I was think that-" I tried to reason.
"No Niall you can't, you have never raised a child in your life! What means you think
you can start now?" she tried to reason.
"I wanted to show you I would make a good father," I explained to Claire.
"I already know that you would make a good father. Just the way you look at Addie, a
smile is spread across her face and her eyes light up. And that little boy when you
walked over to him, his tears went away and a smile came. Niall you would make an
amazing father."
"You think so?"
"I know so, would you like to help me raise Addie?" Claire asked almost shyly.
"Really?" I asked surprise that she was willing to let me be a big part of their life so soon.
"Yes really do you want help me with Addie or not? she asked.
"Yes on one exception, " I challenge.
"Okay what's that?" she asked concern.
"We adopt Ashton."
"Deal," she said relief.
"It looks like we have your dream family now"
"Yes, yes we do"
