"He's a good person. He treats me better and he's kind."

"I told you and I am so happy for you sister," Kumaran says hearing Kayanangai's praise on her husband.

"Why our sister didn't come to see us?"

"She will come and meet you both soon," she answers. Previously, she thought she needs to tell these things to her brother but she doesn't want to share anything about her sister which will result in problems. Like Aathiyan advised she decided to stay silent in their matter.

"Is she talks with you normally?" he asks.

"Yes," she nods but only she knows how much her relationship with her sister has ruined in the past month. In the future, it's going to be even worse and she feels it now itself.

"Sister?"

"Hmm?"

"No matter what, I will always stand by your side, okay," he said.

"I know, you will be," she smiled back and walked to meet her father.

Her father's new house is bigger than the one they all lived in before. This house is a gift from the King and they accepted with after much thinking.

"We should go," Aathiyan says.

"Yes," Kayanangai nodded and turned to her father. He's so happy that his son-in-law came all the way to his house. He's such a humble person and knows well to give respect to the elders.

Now he understood why they chose him as the king.

"I will come again, you should come and see me tomorrow," Kayanangai requested and her father agreed.

They returned to the palace on the evening, Aathiyan went to meet his uncle and Kayanangai got her anklet before walking to her Bharatanatyam practices.

On her way, she came across her sister. Kayanangai went to her with a smile.

"Are you fine?" she asks.

"Yes, I am good,"

"Our father said he will visit you tomorrow,"

"You saw him? What he said and have you told anything?" she asked anxiously.

"No, not at all. I didn't say anything to anyone. You need to trust me, sister," she said.

Mathinila looked at her for a moment and nodded in assurance.

"He just now settled in his new house, he doesn't know anything so don't worry," she says.

Mathinila nodded. "Where you are heading to?" she asks and then seeing her anklet she understood that she's going for the Bharatanatyam rehearse. "Oh you are still going there to learn, I don't like that teacher," Mathinila said.

"But I have to go, it's so boring to spend the time alone and I like to learn," she smiles.

"Okay, go on. I will see you later," Mathinila replies.

After finishing her practices, she came back to see Aathiyan sitting in the grand hall. With a smile, she went to him. Se noticed the dullness on his face as she gets near.

"What's the matter?"

"I went to see my uncle where I met my father. They both compelled me to say yes to become the next king,"

"That's good news,"

"But, I don't want that," Aathiyan gave a frustrated sigh.

"Look, I think this is your time, you deserve this position," she says.
