In the night, after having her dinner Rathi sat in her bed. There's a slight drizzle falling from the dark sky. The room has turned cold.
Aadhiyan lighted the fire in the inglenook before coming to the bed. He gave a glass of milk to Rathi which he specially made for her."Drink it," he smiled and Rathi did feeling better at that moment.
Aadhiyan laid on the bed and heaved out a sigh in relaxation. From morning he didn't have time to rest and was occupied by the household work.
Rathi, sipping the sweet milk watched him, sometimes she gets angry at him out of her control, and sometimes she can't help but fall in love with his kindness that shows up occasionally. She also loves him when he's protective of her.
Rathi never thought she will develop this type of love-hate feelings on Aadhiyan, which always dominating one another. It's confusing to say whether she's totally in love or completely hating him.Aadhiyan turned his gaze to her and Rathi can't avert her eyes.
"What?"
"Nothing,"
"What you will do when we get out of here?" Rathi asked in curious.
"Is that really we need to talk right now?" He scowled.
"I am eager but you seem to be uninterested," she pointed.
"Rathi, we still have a lot of time and there are many things we need to do in between and I think discussing that now is a waste of time. Just go to sleep" he replied.
Rathi laid beside him but her heart didn't calm to hear that reply from him.
"Are you hearing whatever I am thinking?" She started again and Aadhiyan turned to see her.
"Sometimes I will."
"Did you know that I am seeing a black figure near the shore?" She revealed.
"Yes, I know. But I told you already it's nothing," he answered.
"How could you say it's nothing. It's appearing whenever I was so confused. I think it's trying to tell me something."
"If you think that way, then I think you have misunderstood?" Aadhiyan moved close to her.
"But I want to know about it," she took off his hand that went around her stomach.
"Tell me, you must have seen it before." "I knew the one that takes your body but this one which I am seeing, is that also a guardian?" She asked.
"No, she is not a guardian, she's his wife," he revealed.
"So you're telling that she is the wife of the king, Aadhi Rajendra Pandian."
"Yes, don't try to talk to her or search her. Because she is the reason for everything. Because of her Sumaya died, because of her we are all dwelled in this Island for thousand years."
"How? What she did?" Rathi asked knotting her eyebrows.
"If I tell you the story will you promise me that you won't try to reach her and you should stay behind this fort walls until you give birth," he puts a condition and Rathi thought for a moment before accepting.
"Some thousand years, to approximately say thousand two hundred and eighty-eight years ago, the king our guardian lived in the southern part of India which is now called Tamilnadu. He was a son to the greatest warrior and king, Rajasimha Pandya. Just like his father, he is a great warrior, ruler, and had extreme knowledge about this world. He succeeded his father's throne easily even he had two elder brothers. One day his father fell ill and he tried a lot of ways to save him but he couldn't. His father died brutally in front of his eyes."
