Rathi could feel nothing but the scorching fire. In front of her, there's a big well which is glowing brightly, she went close to it and saw something that will ruin her sleep for the rest of her days. There are hundreds of heads rotting and burning in it. In a terror, Rathi turned to run but she saw something that made her stumble. That's Aadhiyan and his eyes were totally red like a devil. His hand carried a man's head. He dropped it and came closer and Rathi closed her eyes in fear.
In the middle of the night, when they were deep in sleep, Rathi got up from her sleep and sat upright in shock. Her eyes started to shed tears which is an impulse for the horrific visuals she saw in her dream right now.
"No don't get scared, don't," she mumbled and kept telling me that.
At that moment she wanted to use the bathroom, but she's too afraid to go outside in the dark. Her eyes looked at Aadhiyan who's sleeping soundlessly. But not having another option, she patted his shoulders.
Aadhiyan immediately got up and looked at her, "What?" he muttered in his sleepy voice.
"I need to go the bathroom," she told.
"Come with me," she added.
Aadhiyan sighed and got down from the bed. Rathi followed him blankly, "Do you want me to come inside too?" he asked as they reached there.
She glared, "No,"
Aadhiyan leaned on the wall and looked at the shimmering ocean. Like Rathi, he had a dream too, where he and Rathi were living in a big house peacefully in the country. He wants that to happen. If he sacrifices his son and frees God, then he will get a chance to ask his wish. He will request to free everyone. Then nothing could stop his happiness and freedom.
Aadhiyan wants to be a painter, he wanted to make that talent into his profession, he'll use his wealth to buy an estate and live there with Rathi. He's wishing all these things secretly and he's having a hopeless belief in this.
Rathi came out wiping her hands using the end of her saree, Aadhiyan turned to see her and she looked at him still having that anger dancing eyes.
"Don't get angry at me," he said and looked at her softly. Rathi stood beside him and looked at the ocean. She never thought midnights can be beautiful. The far stretched ocean made her sigh in weariness. There's a type of silence that will make you crazy and this place habitat that.
"Then be true to me than changing me for your convenience. Talk what lies in here," she told pointing to his heart.
He chuckled, "If I tell you then you can't live with me," he replied.
"Don't decide on your own, whatever it is, just tell me. We can face it together, at least for our baby," she asked.
He's silent because the problem is their child, whenever she mentions this baby he's getting afraid about their fate. It gives him the feeling that they won't end up together.
"I can't, Rathi." He turned his gaze to the other side.
"You'll never listen to me because you never want me," she muttered and started walking to the room. She considers it's a waste to talk to him but more than that her dream –Rathi thinks that it's telling her his true identity.
