Desire is a sinfully dark undying obsession

"Rathi?"

"Rathi," Aadhiyan's rough voice sounded sweetly against her ears. His hot breath blew on her earlobe giving a tickling sensation when she slowly returned to her conscious.

"Open your eyes," he patted gently on her cheeks. She flutters open her eyelids to see the blurred vision of Aadhiyan. Tears welled and glided to ears when she tries to clench her right fist.

"Your hand has to heal keep it easy," Aadhiyan pacified wiping her tears. She felt like every part of her body is frozen and with the help of Aadhiyan, she got up and sat straight. Her throat is dry and her stomach is tired of gurgling for the food.

Aadhiyan didn't ask whether she's alright because he knows she isn't. "I bought food, Rathi," he told. She didn't speak and stared him in fearful confusion.

"I know you can't eat with your hand, I'll feed you," he told and shoved the curd rice near to her mouth. She's blank and nothing is getting into her ears.

"Rathi,"

"RATHI," he shouts her name louder. She's startled and respires heavily like coming out of the spell.

"You've to eat now," a commanding tone bought back to this world.

"Open your mouth, aah," he urged her.

She gulped the food after chewing it slowly. Aadhiyan had a satisfying smile seeing that. He likes that feeling when her lips brush his fingers. But he's quite worried about her silence. He couldn't read her mind because she's blank and she's never been this way. But her eyes are kept observing him. He regretted controlling her mind. All he could sense from her aura is fear.

Don't let her fear you, then she won't be yours tonight, the voice whispered near his ear.

Rathi watched his hand which is tied by a cloth, he didn't properly bandage his wound but she forgets to look at her hand which is in the same state.

Don't be afraid of him, then you will lose him, the voice whispered near her ear.

"Is that hurts?" she asked him. His eyes grew wide by her statement.

"No," he nodded and reached out his hand with food.

She held his wrist, "Did you ate?" she asked in a low tone.

"No," he again nodded.

"Why?" she muttered under breathe but it's clearly heard in his ears.

"Because you didn't eat," he told the true reason.

Rathi's gaze fell down, "You have the rest. I don't feel like eating," she said and laid facing the other side.

Aadhiyan felt she needs some quiet time and went out of the room taking the food. After he left, the skies growled its thunders and she's jerked by the loud roar. She's still wearing all those jewels and her skin is cold by the damp saree and blouse. Being traumatized by the things that happened this morning Rathi can't come back to herself and she doesn't want to do anything than staying in this comfy bed. Hovering her woundd palm before her face she saw he has applied some medicine below the cloth. It sharply hurts for even moving her fingers slightly. In the depressed state, she stared outside.

The darkness diminishing the daylight, clouds were gathering up to veil over the sun. Always buzzing sound of bugs were not heard in that evening, the skies are ready to shower the rain of love.

Rathi doesn't know the exact time but she thought it must be around six. Something is bothering all over her senses, she has this feeling like she wants something but doesn't know what it is. In frustration, she got up from the sleepy state. Having an urgent need to use the bathroom, Rathi headed there. With much difficulty, she washed face and wiped with a towel that's hanging beside. Her eyes looked tired and her birthmark is also showing it's ruthless side as it is hurting badly. She closed her eyes and took a breath.
