Days passed one after the other. As promised Rathi didn't go out of the fort and didn't try to see that woman's soul since she's afraid whether it will harm her in any way. Even last time, it did something to her so that she fainted in Sumaya's house when she died. Those made her believe that it will harm or kill her as Aadhiyan said.
Whatever he said in the past, most of the time, it never happened. She has been deceived after strongly trusting it but this time she wants to believe him once again as it is a threat to her life. So she didn't move out of the place and Aadhiyan used this chance didn't allow her to go anywhere and kept her under his gaze.
Rathi didn't get those strange nightmares these days but there is something weird that happened, she tried to dream about her future and her child but nothing came, the dream will end blankly and the next morning Rathi will open her eyes in all confusion and wondered what might be the reason. She has this greatest fear, whether she will be alive after giving birth but this blankness and silence indicating her fear will come true at the end.
It might be for two reasons, either Rathi or the baby won't be alive at the end and the other one, something here is not letting her dream about that. This made her anxious and making her days a living hell. But the same thing has made her clearly understand her situation. It's true that a person who's in the worst situation will get to see their life properly.
That fear and trembling have gotten her the doubts about this place which is nothing but a maze. It feels like everything here is watching her, the walls, the trees, and even this air. She can't spend a single moment without anyone besides her.
Her fear is getting more these days and she preferred to be with Aadhiyan even though she has no wish to be with him.
On the other hand, Aadhiyan reads her thoughts and pretends like he didn't know anything. He wanted to tell her exactly what he's having in his heart but he also knew how she will react to that.
Rathi is learning about her dreams. She has seen her parents and even the dead persons but doesn't know why she couldn't see her future out of this place. She knew this is a part of her curse like her healing scar but she has no idea how to use it.
As she thought about her birth, she didn't see about her parents' death as well. She entirely forgot that in the middle of everything. Sumaya's death has unknowingly put her in depression and she entirely lost her mind too. Sometimes she thinks like she's still alive here and that thought is haunting too.
Rathi hoped that Sumaya was somewhere in the heavens happy and peaceful to see her daughter.
Mithran was taking great care of her and Rathi spends most of her day time with the baby. Even Aadhiyan, his dad, and Mithran's dad Das was always beside the child and making sure that she is properly nourished.
Seeing all these things, Rathi felt like her family members are not that bad.
Who are they actually? Why they have to live this way? There's a great truth lying underneath this land and they won't give up their onus even if all their people die.
When Rathi was in her thoughts on her future, Aadhiyan came with fruits and hot milk, his face unusually carried a smile.
She is sitting on the front verandah of their house yet it's freaking cold in there because of her fear to sit alone inside the house.
