The neon sign above Pigsy's Noodles lit up, signifying that the noodles shop was now open for business. Today was going to be a busy day for MK. "Order up! Come on! Get the lead out!" Pigsy exclaimed, to which MK replied: "On it!" As he began to make his rounds to deliver noodles, getting more exhausted each delivery.

He began to drive back to the shop before he was stopped by the giant, Sandy. "MK! Whoa boy, did you arrive at the right time!" Sandy said, holding a paintbrush dipped in blue paint. "Scoop up the brush, we're giving the old girl a fresh coat of paint!" Sandy said as he showed off his cargo ship, which was indeed in need of a new coat of paint.

"Yeah!" MK exclaimed, "Painting boats is my middle name!" As he quickly picked up a paintbrush and paint can full of blue paint. He and the giant had finished, and the boat was now a beautiful shade of blue. MK and Sandy fist bumped and MK went back to driving home.

Before he was stopped by Y/N, testing out her new voice generating app on their phone.

"MK!" The app spoke. "Oh! Hey Strawberry! What's up?" MK replied, still trying so hard not to pass out from exhaustion. "Nothing really, I was just wondering if you wanted to train with me?" The app spoke for Y/N as pulled out their Splatana, itching for a good training sesh.

"Aw, HECK YEAH! You know I'm always up for training with my sib!" MK said, making Y/N rejoice at MK's enthusiasm. By the time the two stopped training, it was already sundown.

MK just got out of the shower, fully ready for a good night's sleep, before that was thwarted by Mei taking him to the Anti Gravity Arcade to ""Porty"". To which MK eagerly agreed, he just couldn't say no to his friends and family!

The rest of the next day was spent doing the same things as yesterday. Delivering noodles, painting Sandy's boat again, training with Y/N (he was getting so good! MK was so proud), and partying with Mei.

It kept repeating as his found family kept dragging him to do things.

It was so often, MK was getting so stressed, it was like everyone's voices were just screaming in his head to get him to do things. Until he collapsed onto the counter in the seat next to Tang.

"Wow MK, you look like hot garbage. Tired?" Was all Tang said after seeing the state that MK was in. "What? Me? No I'm fine, I just need to close my eyes for a couple of seconds..." Was all MK got out before he fell face first into his noodle bowl, clearly trying to sleep.

"You're pushing yourself too hard, MK. Working all day, partying all night? Training? Painting boats?" The scholar said as he lifted MK's face out of the noodle bowl with his chopsticks. "It's not good for a growing boy! You need to have time to relax!" He replied while picking up his bowl and eating the noodles inside.

"I just... I don't wanna let my friends down, you know?" MK responded as he stared at his reflection in the broth of the noodles. "It's like, I wanna help out in the store, do arts and crafts with Sandy, practice my Staff skills with Y/N, and party with MUH-MUH-MUH-MEI! MEI-MEI! But it's too hard. I'm just one guy!"

"Too bad you can't make duplicates of yourself like Monkey King." Tang vaguely said, causing MK to simply respond with a "Huh?"

+~ Location change: Y/N's apartment lab ~+

Y/N was tinkering with some modifications to his Splatana Stamper, when they realized that they would probably need someone to test it out with. She pulled a lever to hide his lab and texted MK.

'Hey bro, got a minute?'
'Omw!'

True to his words, almost immediately after he sent the message, MK was already at Y/N's door, knocking rigorously.
