Y/N was just inventing in their lab, still recovering from the events of what she calls 'Duplicnation', it was three days ago!
When he decided to go on a little shopping trip, considering that they were running out of actual food ("Shrimp Chips don't count!" Pigsy has told him many times). They decided to go to a little farmers market, thinking they could get some free samples, since she left his wallet at home.
They were just walking around when they came across a strange little stall that had a small sign that read "ELIZABETH'S EDIBLES". 'Cute!' Thought Y/N.
Y/N walked up to the stall and rang the little bell on the counter. And then continued to ring it, just because it was fun! But then the bell was pulled away by the shopkeeper, who Y/N assumed was Elizabeth.
Y/N looked up and got a better look at her, and was AWESTRUCK.
She was an Inkling, with long, yellow-green tentacles that reached down to her knees, bright orange eyes, an outfit that looked a lot like the one Pigsy wore, and a hat that resembled that of a captain's.
"Hi there! Are you Elizabeth?" Y/N questioned, then realized that the shopkeeper probably didn't understand himohgodwhywouldyouspeakoctarianthe-
"Yes, I'm Elizabeth." She replied. She understood Octarian! Y/N struck out! Y/N then asked for some donuts, seeing that they were on the menu, before she remembered that they left his wallet at home. Noticing their panic, Elizabeth simply said "Don't worry, I'm not gonna charge you for these, you're my first customer since I set up my stall."
After getting her donuts and chatting with her to get to know her, Y/N's walking slowed down until he was just standing. And then it hit them.
They LIKED-LIKED Elizabeth. Oh Gods.
He continued to walk through the market before they came across a strangely empty stall. Examining the shelves void of any items. And then the shopkeeper started talking to them.
"My my! Aren't you a little darling?~" the shopkeeper said. 'Ok, immediate red flag.' Y/N thought. "Say, you look kinda hungry! I could offer you some food if you want... It won't even cost a penny!~" She said.
'It may have been a red flag, but I'm sure as hell getting a free meal.' They thought, throwing caution to the wind. He eagerly jumped over the counter, surprising the woman behind it. "Oh my! Eager, aren't you?" She questioned.
Y/N would have responded, but they were too hungry to. He followed her into the back, before a trapdoor opened up below them and she fell down, screaming the whole way down.
She landed on something soft, until he realized that it was a spider web, instantly terrifying them. They flailed around, screaming "HELP ME!" In Octarian, hoping someone would hear her.
"KID!?" He heard two voices yell. They looked around until he saw...
Pigsy and Tang tied up in web as well. Oh. My. GODS!!!
She began screaming "HELP!" Again, hoping someone would hear and get the three of them out of there.
SOMEHOW, someone heard them. As a mysterious hooded figure, slightly feminine, Y/N noted, jumped down the hole and cut Y/N out of the web. They carried them over their shoulder and jumped away, mission successful.
Pigsy and Tang watched the whole scene, hoping that the figure would rescue them as well.
They never did.
+~ Location: somewhere in the Spider Queen's lair ~+
As Y/N finally got off of the figure's shoulder, they began berating them for leaving Tang and Pigsy behind.
"WHY DID YOU LEAVE THEM?"
"YOU COULD HAVE SAVED THEM TOO!"
"WHY'D YOU ONLY SAVE ME!?"
His next complaint was cut off by the person taking off their hood, revealing the shopkeeper, Elizabeth.
"YOU!?" Y/N exclaimed, clearly shocked. "YES, YES, SHUSH! IT'S ME! STOP YELLING!" She replied with a mix of annoyance and fear. "I had to get you out of here because that Spider Queen is dangerous and WHY DID YOU FOLLOW HER!?"
"I WAS HUNGRY!" Was all Y/N said in response to the "Shopkeeper"'s anger.
"Look," she began. "My friends 1 and 2 will be waiting at the nearest water exit, we just need to find it." The woman explained, to which Y/N responded with a simple thumbs up. Elizabeth chuckled at his bright response.
As they walked through the lair, Y/N decided to get some answers. "What's your real job? You're clearly not a humble shopkeeper." She questioned, surprising the Inkling.
"Well, I've let you know this much, might as well." She began. "I'm Agent 3 of..." The Agent paused dramatically before posing and finishing her sentence.
"THE NEW SQUIDBEAK SPLATOON!"
Y/N looked on in awe, before the two heard loud beeping from nearby.
"YO! THREE! YOU GOT THE GIRL YET?" A loud female voice asked, as Y/N and 3 dashed to the sound, to reveal a pink and green themed speedboat. On the boat were two Inklings, one with short white tentacles wearing a facemask, the other with long black tentacles wearing sunglasses.
"WE WERE WAITING FOR YOU!" The sunglasses one yelled, to which the masked one replied: "1 was seriously considering leaving you guys behind."
"Oh, I was not!" Agent 1 retaliated. Agent 3 watched the twins fight and leaned towards Y/N "They're always like this." She informed the Octoling.
They both jumped onto the boat, and it took off soon after. They then spotted another speedboat, this one blue and orange. A color scheme Y/N knew well.
"Alright, we'll drop you off on that boat. Can you swim?" Agent 2 questioned, to which Y/N shook his head no. "Ah, well, that's gonna be a problem. OH WELL!" Agent 1 said as she pushed Y/N into the water and then sped off.
Y/N immediately Squid-Jumped to the boat that the group was in, surprising everyone.
They explained everything that happened and everyone was completely bamboozled. Not believing him for a second.
But Y/N was fine with that. She was safe. Pigsy was safe. Tang was safe. Everyone was safe.
And Y/N was happy.

I wrote these last two chapters in school, there was some complications.
