Florida Bound

Kathrine's POV

It was the day before the private house showings. I asked TJD if I could stay with them again and, of course, they said yes. I kept trying to figure out creative ways to tell them I was moving to Florida but none of what I came up with seemed right. So I figured I would just tell them. Save myself from the awkwardness of randomly asking them to get in the car and go to 2 random houses.

I walked out into the common areas of the house. Finn and Damian were in the kitchen making lunch while Dom and Rhea were outside playing pool. I went outside to where Dom and Rhea were. I watched as they played pool and Dom get his ass kicked by Rhea. Eventually, Finn and Damian came out with lunch. They handed me my food and we all sat outside enjoying our lunch.

"OK so. I have something to ask and tell you guys." "Yeah, what's up?" asked Damian. "So I told you guys that I have work out here again and that's why I asked to stay again. Well, that was a lie." "Ok, so what are you really out here for?" Rhea asked. "Well, before I came back I remembered how much it sucked living half on the east coast and half on the west coast. I didn't want to continuously keep going back and forth plus my clothing line runs out of New York. So, tomorrow I'm going to be looking at 2 houses that are 15 minutes from here and I was wondering if you guys wanted to come with?" They all looked at me with huge smiles on their faces!

"Of course! We would love to come with you!" Finn stated excitedly. "I can't believe you're moving out here!" said Dom. "You said both houses were 15 minutes away from here?" asked Rhea. "Yeah! I wanted to stay close to you guys while still being kinda close to WWE stuff. Also, the houses are extremely nice! The one I've been eyeing the longest and will probably end up getting is $16 million." "$16 MILLION!" They all said in shock. "I know that sounds like a lot but I'm not gonna be the only one using this house to its full potential." They all gave me a confused look. "What I mean by that is I'm guessing you guys are going to be there with me a lot. Plus Caleb and Jules." "Who's Jules?" Damian asked. "Oh, I forgot to tell you about her! She's my assistant. She handles the stuff I don't want and/or need to deal with. For example, if I need to go to the doctor for something or I need to send an email to someone in my company who isn't Cami or Reily, she takes care of it for me." "That's cool! So I'm going to assume we'll be meeting Cami, Reily, and Jules?" asked Finn. "Yup! You'll also meet Victor tomorrow. He's my realtor." "Wait, who are Cami and Reily?" Dominik asked. "Cami is my co-designer and Reily is both of our assistants. Well, she's more Cami's assistant but she also does stuff for me within the company." Well, I can't wait to meet them! When are the house tours? One is at 1 and the other is at 2!"

Thursday finally came around! We drove to the first house. I liked it but it didn't feel right. The second house is the one I've been eyeing for what feels like forever! Everything in this house was huge! It had a big L-shaped pool with a hot tub! A movie room with a bowling area! This house was perfect! "You said this house is move-in ready, Victor?" "Yup! All you need to do is put in an offer, have the owners accept, and move in whenever you want. The furniture comes with the house so you don't need to worry about buying new." "OK then! I will put in an offer by the end of the day today!" "And seeing how you're the only person to want this house that can afford it, you'll get it!" said Jules.

I said my goodbyes to Jules and Victor and got into the car with TJD. "So what'd you guys think of that house?" "It's stunning! The fact that you're probably gonna live there is insane!" Rhea said. "Like I said, you guys are welcome anytime! And for safety reasons, you guys will be getting spare keys." "Wait, seriously?" asked Damian. "Yeah, you guys are the closest to me so you guys are getting the spares. Better safe than sorry!"

Later that same evening

The Judgment Day wanted to celebrate my moving back to Florida by going out! We found this place called Main Event! It has bowling, pool tables, arcade games, etc! We were having fun kicking each other's asses at different games when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look to see if it was what I was seeing. I looked around frantically. He's not here! He's in California with his new girl. He wouldn't come here, especially not when I'm with TJD. My anxiety skyrocketed for a second thinking he was here.

Rhea's POV

I noticed Kathrine stopped playing the game we were playing. She was looking around. Was she looking for someone? I could see her shaking like a leaf. Did she see him? "Hey, you ok?" "Yeah. I thought I saw someone," she said to me, turning her attention back to our game. "You sure? You seem a bit shaken." "Um, yeah. I'm ok." "You thought you saw him didn't you?" "Yeah. He's not here though. He's in California." "Let's take a break. I'll let the boys know we'll be in the bathroom."

I walked over to the boys and let them know Kathrine and I were heading to the bathroom real quick. Thankfully when we entered, we were the only ones in there. "Kat please be honest. Has he been messaging you again?" "God no! If he was I would've let you know already. I have been getting flashbacks and nightmares." "Kathrine! You should've told me! That explains why your anxiety was up on Monday." "Yeah. I didn't want to say anything cause I thought I could power through but I almost had a panic attack just now" "God I hate Alex! If I see him ever again, I'm gonna rip his head off." "OK calm down jigsaw." "I know! Has being back brought everything back up?" "Sadly yes. We dated for a long time during my last run so being back has been difficult. Like on Monday right as we entered catering, my asshole brain decided to give me a flashback of him." "I'm sorry love. Is there anything I can do?" "Not really. But I have been thinking about going back into therapy." "That's good! Can I hug you?" Kathrine just nodded and opened her arms to let me in. We hugged for what felt like forever. Her grip got tight as she held me close. We let go of our hug and I held her in a side hug. "You know that if he ever pops up again, the boys and I will protect you." "I know! I feel safe with you guys" "Good! Ready to get back to me kicking your ass at Deal or No Deal?" "More like I was kicking your ass" We laughed as we left the bathroom.

A/N: Ooo interesting! Kathrine is officially moving back to Florida! Plus, we got a glimpse of her trauma/mental health issues. Don't worry! Everything about that will eventually be explained! For now, that's all you guys are getting! You guys have no idea how excited I am to write the next couple of chapters! Hence why I'm gonna try to post as much of the story this week. I'm gonna go on a writing binge after this is posted so you guys might be getting a chapter or 2 a day! But like I keep saying, we'll see how much I'm able to crank out!
