Payback 2023

Rhea's POV

Time just seems to be flying by lately! It was just Summerslam and now it's Payback! Anyways, all of The Judgment Day except for Dom had a match tonight. Kathrine's match was up first. She was defending her IC title against Zelina Vega. Zelina has been a problem for us since Rey reformed the LWO. Even though she's on Smackdown, she came over to Raw to challenge Kat for her title! What a bitch!

Zelina made her way into the ring. She took her sweet time too! Thankfully that gave us time to get Kathrine ready. Her first title defense! All of us were excited! Damian rubbed Kat's shoulders while Finn, Dominik, and I hyped her up! Triple H let us know that Kat was about to go out so, we hugged her and wished her good luck!

We watched Kathrine strut her way down the ramp and into the ring. Her ring gear hugged her body in all of the right places. The lights shined down on her, making the gems on her gear gleam. When the ring announcer Samantha was introducing Kat, she had the biggest smile while holding up her title.

The bell rang and the match started. Kathrine went straight to work and ran over to Zelina knocking her to the ground. She climbed on top of her and started punching her in the face! All 4 of us cheered from our places in gorilla. She was throwing Zelina around like a ragdoll! Almost like I did to her at Backlash a few months ago.

It was an even back-and-forth between Kat and Zel. There were many moments when we thought Kat was about to lose but she kicked out of every single attempt! Finally, Kathrine was able to overpower Zelina and do her finisher! She climbed on top of Zelina and kept her down for the 3 count! Kathrine retained! All of us jumped from our seats and applauded our girl!

She celebrated in the ring with the fans! Even with Kathrine being a part of The Judgment Day, the fans loved her! Kathrine made her way backstage. We opened our arms for a quick group hug. We wanted to stay in the hug forever but we couldn't. Damian and Finn's match was next! They were going against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Tag Team titles!

Kathrine was nervous for the boys since the match was a street match! She hated seeing one of us in pain. Dom stood up the whole time so he could warm up to run out there when it was time. Kathrine and I were gonna be out there to help them win as well but that wouldn't be until the end of the match.

Once the bell rang, the 4 in the ring started throwing hands at each other. I noticed Kathrine's leg bouncing fast so I put my hand on it to ease her anxiety. Instead of leaving my hand there, she grabbed my arm and wrapped it around the back of her neck. She nuzzled herself into me as she grabbed my other hand to hold on to.

"Dommy please be careful! You know I hate seeing you guys get hurt!" she said to Dominik as he warmed up. He stopped his warm-ups and kneeled in front of her. "Don't worry mi amor, I'll be fine. And so will Damian and Finn," he stated. He kissed her forehead and got back into his warm-ups.

The fight between the boys moved to the crowd which meant it was Dom's time to run in and help! He punched Kevin and Sami and helped up Finn and Damian. They started making a plan of getting them back into the ring but when the boys turned around, they were met with a pissed-off Kevin and Sami with hockey sticks in hand.

Kathrine squeezed my hand tight as she watched the boys all get hit with the hockey sticks. "They're gonna be ok love," I said in hopes of easing her anxiety. "I know. I just wish we could skip past this part so I don't have to watch it," "It'll be over before you know it!" "I know," Just as we finished talking, Dom was put through a table by Kevin.

After watching more of the match, it was Kat and I's turn to go out and help. I ran out of gorilla first and tackled Kevin through the barricade! Kathrine was close behind. She saw Finn about to be hit in the back with a kendo stick by Sami, so she ran in, pushed Finn out of the way, and took multiple hits to her body!
