Things Are Heating Up

Kathrine's POV

It's been about a week since I moved into my new house! TJD basically lives with me now but I obviously don't mind! I also love having Barry, Luna, and Chewy around 24/7! Caleb doesn't seem to mind either. Having them around has made me think about getting a dog myself! We'll see about that one. As for TJD, things have been heating up, to say the least! This morning I woke up around 9 and went to the kitchen to get my morning coffee. Finn was in there already making coffee for the both of us.

"Don't worry about the coffee love! I've got it covered!" Finn said as he handed me a cup. "Thanks, Finn! Do you want to add anything to yours?" "Thanks but I'm good actually. I'm making myself an expresso shot so I don't need to add anything!" "I don't know how you can drink that. I've tried but it's a bit much for me." "You don't need coffee anyways love. You have enough energy as is" "Not to mention I add a crap ton of sweetener." "So you drown it in sugar! Now I see why you're bouncing off the walls some days." "Now that's called ADHD, Finny" "You know I don't like that nickname" "Oh yeah! Whatcha gonna do about?" I said in a joking tone.

Finn takes his attention off of the expresso machine and turns it to me. I got the signal that I should put my coffee cup down and run. "I'm gonna throw you in the pool Kat!" "Good luck catching me, Finny!" Finn eventually caught me. He grabbed me and spun me around. He lost his balance when spinning me and we fell onto the grass area of the backyard. I landed on my back while he landed on me.

We were dying laughing at this point! "Are you ok?" he said through his laughing fit. "I'm ok!" I responded. We slowly stopped laughing, staying in the position we fell into. Once we were done laughing, we just stared into each other's eyes. He looked like he wanted to lean in but he didn't. "Ehm, we should get back inside before our coffee gets cold," I said. "Yeah. Let me help you up." He got off of me and held out a hand. I grabbed it and I was back on my feet. We walked to the kitchen together where we were met with a sleepy Damian.

"Morning Dam! How'd you sleep?" I asked wrapping my arms around him to give in a hug. "Slept great. Where's breakfast?" He asked. "I'll make breakfast for everyone! Show off my cooking skills a bit!" I exclaimed. I made everyone breakfast burritos with everything they liked in it! Rhea and Dom eventually came downstairs and joined us. A little while later, I went to TJD's room to see if they were in there. The only person I saw was Damian. He was making the bed when I walked in, so I helped him finish.

"Where is everyone?" I asked Damian. "Rhea and Dom are in the media room and Finn's in the library." "Cool cool! So, how do you like living with me in your own room?" I asked. "I've been loving it honestly! Thank you again for letting us basically move in with you!" "Hey if you guys want to actually move in, I do not mind. You guys are amazing roomies!" We both gave a small laugh before locking eyes.

We sat at the end of the bed just staring at each other. Every time Damian looked at me, I could see how much he cared about me! Just the look in his eyes made everything around me fade away. I felt his hand touch my leg and work its way up slowly. I could feel the tension in the room. Not yet. I tried to think of something to say but couldn't. My phone ended up ringing. It was Rhea Facetiming me. I slid my finger across the screen to answer. "Girl, where are you? Dom's about to beat your high score in ski ball!" "DO NOT LET HIM BEAT IT!" I said as I ran out of TJD's room towards the media room. I heard Damian laughing as I ran out.

Dominik ended up beating my high score! "It's all in the wrist baby!" "Enjoy that spot for now Mysterio 'cause I'm taking it back sooner or later!" "Good luck with that, Hermosa!" He said in a teasing tone. Rhea was behind us laughing when her phone rang. "Hey guys I'm gonna take this. It's my sister!" "Have fun!" "Tell her I say Hi!" Dominik and I yelled as she walked out of the media room. "Want me to teach you some tricks to win, Hermosa?" I looked at him for a second. "Show me how you did it! What movements did you make to keep getting the highest points!"
