Wrestlemania Kickoff 2024

Kathrine's POV

Life recently has been very hard. Watching the 4 of them travel and continue their stories is the hardest. Granted I'm very happy for them but at the same time, I feel lonely. I don't want to bring it up with them and have them worry about me while they're on the road. Triple H was able to get me to host the Wrestlemania Kickoff event in Las Vegas. It felt good being able to travel with them to Vegas.

When we got to the arena, we were told Rhea was the only one besides me that would be on stage. When I made my entrance as the host, the crowd cheered me on. The word got out about my injury to the WWE universe a few days after the rumble but everyone had suspected I was injured. Watching Rhea go toe to toe with Becky was pretty fun! Plus I got to watch The Rock slap Cody, Will Smith style.

Once the show was over, the 5 of us headed back to our place we own in Vegas. "Hey, I'm gonna go change and put my leg up. Even standing for that long was a lot on my knee." I tell them. "Want us to come keep you company?" Rhea asks. "No, I'm fine. Do what you guys want to do". They all gave me a look of concern but they don't want to push.

Rhea's POV

The Wrestlemania Kickoff was amazing! Kathrine was such an amazing host, they're considering having her host Wrestlemania this year! When we got back to the room, she seemed kinda off. She's been wanting to be more alone as of late. The 4 of us including Caleb have been keeping an eye on her. I think her injury plus being away from us so often is kinda getting to her. She went from being with us literally 24/7 to only being able to be with us for 48 hours if that.

We tried talking to Triple H about having her join us on the road and being more of a backstage person for now but he doesn't want to overwork her knee and possibly have it not heal properly. It's understandable but we just want her with us. Not only did she get used to being around us but we got used to being around her.

Thankfully we were able to convince Hunter to let her come to Australia with us! Not only will she be with us for a full week and get to have fun but her birthday is right after! I'm just happy we get to celebrate her birthday with her again.

Another reason why we were in Vegas was because we were going to the Superbowl! Kathrine forced us to be 49er fans for the day. We got to hang out with our WWE friend group while we were there. While Kathrine and Dominik were busy yelling at the team, I went over and talked to Cody, Seth, and Becky. "Hey, so how has Kathrine been doing since her injury? I haven't had much time to have an actual conversation with her." Cody asked me. "Physically she's healing well but mentally, I think it's taking a toll on her. She went from being on the road with us 24/7 to being stuck at home and only seeing us for no more than a day." I respond.

"Aw, man that sucks. But she's going with to Australia, right?" Seth asks. "Yeah, she is. I think being there with us for a week and seeing my family again will hopefully help her mental state." "But just out of curiosity, what if it doesn't help and it makes things worse?" Becky questions. "I don't know actually. I think at that point we'll sit down with her and have a talk." "Has Caleb been keeping her company at least?" Cody wonders. "He has but I can tell it's not the same for her. The 5 of us have gotten extremely close within the past year. All 4 of us wish we could just make her knee heal instantly and have her come with us but sadly the world doesn't work like that." "Well, I know Kathrine. She's strong. And if it really starts bugging her then she'll come to you guys." Seth states. "Yeah, you're right. I just hope she doesn't bottle everything up."

Later that night

We got back to the room not too long ago and you can tell Kathrine is having a hard time. Tomorrow morning we have to get up early. She has to fly back to Florida while we fly to where Monday Night Raw is being held. This coming week is one of those weeks where we won't see her until next Tuesday. Dom, Finn, Damian, and I sat down and discussed that we needed to have a talk with Kathrine tonight.

I knock on the bedroom door. "Kat? Can we come in? We wanna talk to you." "Yeah come in." As we enter the room, you can just see the look on her face. She doesn't want to be separated from us for so long. Her eyes are slightly red and puffy from crying. "Kat? Are you ok?" Damian asks as we sit around her. "No... I'm not ok. I don't want tomorrow to come yet." "We know love and we don't either but everything is gonna be ok," Finn says in an attempt to reassure her.

"No, it's not ok, Finn! I'm not ok! Ever since I got injured I have felt so alone. You guys are barely home, Caleb doesn't live with us anymore so he's only there for a few hours and then leaves. Even Maya is too busy to talk because of work. I feel like each day is the same and it's never gonna end. And I obviously don't blame you guys for your schedules because you don't have much control over it but you guys barely text me when you're on the road, you turn down every single Facetime opportunity, and when you are home, you're either sleeping or relaxing because you have to do it all over again in 24 hours. So don't go saying everything is going to be fine when after today everything is going back to how it is."

Kathrine is crying as she finally lets everything off of her chest. All of us feel terrible. We had no idea that this was how she actually felt. We knew she misses us when we're not home but to hear her say she feels alone in everything breaks all of our hearts. "Kathrine. We are so sorry. We had no idea that this is how you felt." Dominik says as tears start to run down his face. "We never meant to make you feel alone, Mariposa," says Damian. "Starting now Kat, we will make sure you don't feel alone. I know it seems hard with everything coming up but we will get through this rough patch together. I promise you that. We love you more than anything in this world. We will make it up to you." I say as tears drip down my face. "We love you. We always will." Finn states.

Kathrine doesn't say anything. She does come closer to us and we group hug. "We know life for you recently hasn't been the best but we will always be here for you mi amor," Dominik says in a loving tone. The rest of the night we spend together cuddling and enjoying each other's company.

A/N: Y'all I'm still not over what happened at Summerslam. Plus not to mention the shit that happens on Raw. Rhea and Priest DO NOT deserve all of that! I'm just hoping Rhea and Priest beat Dom and Liv this Saturday. Then Liv and Rhea can get their rematch at Bad Blood along with Damian and Gunter. THE TERROR TWINS DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR TITLES BACK! We got one week of them being champs together before Liv RUINED IT! Anywho that's my rant lol. As always, I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to y'all in chapter 37!!!!
