Am I Into This?

Kathrine's POV

Finally, the time has come! Time for me to head to my hometown for Raw! I really missed being home. Even though I can't go see my parents or siblings, I'm still happy to be here. Today I see Mrs. Brooks! Even though I hate waking up early, it's so worth it! Considering that I need to talk to her about my situationship with The Judgment Day. I got to my old high school and headed for the main office so I could sign myself in for the day. Mrs. Brooks was able to convince the school to let me be her teacher's assistant for the day!

As I was signing in, Mrs. Brooks spotted me and made her way over! "Hey, sweetheart! How are you?" she said while holding her arms out so we can hug. "Could be better honestly" I replied as I hugged her. "Yeah from what you've told me over text, seems like you needed this" "More than you'll ever know" "C'mon, you can help me set up my classroom for the day! I've also told the students that I'll be having a visitor today!" "Do they know it's me?" "They will when they see you!" We laughed as we made our way to her classroom.

As Mrs. Brooks had me write stuff for her on the whiteboard and pass out the morning work sheets, I told her everything that's been going on. "So ok, let me see if I understand everything. Damian, Dominik, Finn, and Rhea are in a polyamorous relationship together," "Yes" "And not only did you accidentally overhear them say that they like you but, they've been making moves. And Rhea said something the other day about her turn being last," "That's pretty much what's been going on" "OK. How do you feel about all of it?" "Honestly, I don't know. One minute I see them as close friends but then when they do the stuff they've been doing, everything I feel about them changes" "Huh" Mrs. Brooks didn't say anything. I saw she had a thinking face so I waited for her to say something.

She looked over at the clock on the wall. "We still have some time before we might get interrupted. Sit here." She pointed to 2 chairs at a desk in front of her. I sat down next to her. "Face me so I can do a full analysis." I turned my chair so I was facing her. "OK now, close your eyes, take some deep breaths, and clear your mind." She waited a minute to say anything. "Now I want you to think about Rhea, Damian, Finn, and Dominik. Don't think about anything else, just them." "Ok" "Now I want you to picture your life with them. Being on the road, wrestling together, having fun!" I did what she told me to do. I pictured my life with them and it was beautiful! "What are you feeling when picturing your life with them?" she asked me. "I feel... happy. Like it's a level of happiness I've never felt! It's honestly indescribable!" "Ok, now picture the 5 of you in a poly relationship. You guys are going on dates, going to clubs, dancing, hugging, kissing." As I was picturing all of the things she was telling me, I couldn't help but want it to be real! I wanted to do all of those things with them! Holy shit. Am I into this? Is this something I want?

"Open your eyes" I fluttered them open so they could adjust to the bright light that was being brought in by the morning sun. "Do you want me to tell you what I noticed as I was asking you all that?" "Yeah!" "When you started, you were sitting straight up but as I asked you to think of them, your body sunk down a bit and you looked relaxed. And after I asked you to think about being in a relationship with them, you got even more relaxed and you had the biggest smile on your face! And remember body language is also important." "Wow, I... wow." "Yeah. So let me ask you this. What do you think about being with them now?" I really thought about that question. "Being with the 4 of them is all new to me. Being with them sounds amazing but I'm not sure still." You wanna know what I think?" "Yeah" "I think you want to be with them. But I know what you've been through both with your love life and with your family. Commitment can be scary and that's what's holding you back, Kathrine. It's understandable but don't let it control you. From what I've heard, if you jump into this, it sounds like Rhea, Dominik, Damian, and Finn will catch you and never drop you." "Huh, I didn't think about it like that." As I said that, the school bell rang. "Perfect timing" Mrs. Brooks stated.

The Judgment Day's POV

"What time are we supposed to pick up Kathrine again?" Dominik asked his partners. "She said that school gets out at 2:30 but she said to come at 3 so we don't have to worry about the pickup traffic," Finn responded. "I don't know about you guys but I'm excited to see her high school!" said Rhea. "Hopefully we get to meet her teacher she's been talking about lately," Damian stated.

3 PM comes around and The Judgment Day makes their way into Kathrine's old high school. They walk into the office and just before anyone can ask if they know where Kathrine is, they're stopped by Mrs. Brooks. "Well hello there! You guys must be looking for Kathrine." "Yeah how'd you know?" asked Rhea. "I'm Mrs. Brooks, her teacher. It's nice to finally meet the four of you!" "Finally meet?" Damian asked. "Yeah! Before I continue, follow me to my classroom."

The four followed Mrs. Brooks into her classroom. Kathrine wasn't in there but they were curious as to what Mrs. Brooks had to say. "Before you ask, Kathrine is making copies of papers in the teacher's lounge for me. As I was saying before, Kathrine has been talking about you guys almost all day." "What uh, what's she been saying?" Dom asked. "Well, she told me that you four are in a relationship together and that you guys have been making... advancements towards her." The four's eyes went wide when she said that. Mrs. Brooks looked at them. She studied how they were responding to her statement. She smiled at them before continuing. "Ok well, you didn't hear this from me but a little birdy told me that she likes you guys too, she just doesn't know how to go about it. Plus she's a bit afraid." "Afraid of what?" Finn asked. "That's for her to tell you guys, not me." "It's about Alex and her family situation, isn't it?" asked Rhea. "Again, ask her at the right moment. Don't force it if she's not ready."

Kathrine's POV

I walked back to Mrs. Brooks's classroom from the teacher's lounge. When I walked in the door, I was met with Mrs. Brooks and The Judgment Day. I didn't think they would wait for me in her classroom! "All done! That copier seriously needs to be replaced." "Thanks, Kat! Made my job a bit easier!" "That's what TAs are for!" "I see the 5 of you were talking before I came in." "Yeah, we just wanted to get to know your teacher!" "More like a mentor/mom, I've always wanted" "Aww sweetheart!" Mrs. Brooks said before pulling me into a hug. "OK well, you should get going. Only one of us has grade papers before tomorrow." "I can stay and help if you need," "No! Go have fun! But don't forget to message me whenever you need me!" "I won't!" Mrs. Brooks and I gave each other a farewell hug and so did TJD!

On the way back to our hotel, I couldn't help but think about what Mrs. Brooks said. After everything I've been through with my family and then Alex, I guess I did develop commitment issues. At least that's something I can work on in therapy! 

A/N: Sorry that this one is a day late! I got caught up in Smackdown and then the Hall Of Fame yesterday! But here it is! Real fast Rhea's look for Mania today was STUNNING! Dom's outfit was sick af! Finn and Priest looked amazing too! Sadly, the boys lost but let's see what happens tomorrow night! Congrats to Rhea!
