"What?" The voice behind them asked in shock.

Akemi glanced behind her to see Zero had found her. Getting up immediately. "I'll see you later Shiki." She mumbled.

Shiki didn't have time to reply as she jumped down from the top of the roof. Making him rush over to the edge as he sighed in relief when he noticed she had been caught by Akatsuki.

"That was a very dangerous stunt you just pulled." Akatsuki groaned as he held her.

"Thanks for catching me though." Akemi replied. Glancing up to see Zero and Shiki. "Night Shiki!" She waved to him before glancing at Akatsuki. "Goodnight to you as well, Akatsuki." She added before getting out of his arms.

"What an odd one." Akatsuki spoke when she was out of earshot.

Akemi headed to her dorm as she opened the door before immediately turning back around. Zero already being there waiting for her.

Zero immediately dragged her back in and shut the door locking it. Standing behind her and keeping his hands on the door. "You seriously want to be turned?" He asked.

"Why do you care?" Akemi asked before turning to face him. "You didn't believe me about how I wouldn't hurt your precious Yuki and now I can't use my magic. I won't be able to patrol or be seen as normal because of you."

"How was I supposed to-?!"

"By trusting me!" Akemi raised her voice at him. Calming herself down as she sighed. "You've always paid more attention to her after a few months of arriving since we were kids. I'm your friend too. Now get out of my room." She tried to get him to move away from her.

Zero didn't budge as he stared at her. "Do you like him?"

"What are you talking about now?"

"That vampire you seem to be cozy with now."

"If you can have a crush on Yuki then I can have a crush on someone I like too." Akemi spoke until her breath hitched at her throat. Touching noses with the silver haired teen before her.

Neither making a move as he debated his feelings. He knew he had liked her when he first arrived there but he liked Yuki now. Pulling away from her. "Sorry." He mumbled. "I thought you were Yuki." He lied.

"I thought you were Shiki." She replied back as she shoved him away from her. Opening the door when there was a knock before smiling immediately. "Shiki. What are you doing here?"

"I.. don't know. I found myself walking and I somehow ended up here. Are you busy?"

"She's busy." Zero scoffed.

"I'm not busy at all." The smile on her face remained as she kicked Zero out of her room. "He was going to see Yuki again anyways." Leaning up a bit as she pecked his cheek.

Shiki was surprised as he glanced at her. "You're quite something else."

"Is that a bad thing?" Akemi asked as she let him in before closing the door. Forgetting to lock it as she sat on her bed.

"Not at all." Shiki replied before taking a seat. "What was he doing here?"

"Confused my room with Yuki's." The teen shrugged a bit.

Zero didn't go anywhere as he silently leaned against the wall. Listening to the conversation going on between the two of them.

"He must really like her." Shiki mumbled.

Akemi gave a small nod. "Yeah, I guess so."

"Do you still have feelings for him though?"

"I don't know about that anymore. I mean, Zero is a great guy when he isn't angry at you and the others or yelling at the Day students. I liked him because he stayed with me when I thought I was alone but that doesn't matter anymore. Yuki will be picked by him and he deserves to be happy with her."
