Akemi watched the man leave without another word after he put his mask back on. Left in her own pool of blood. Glancing up at the night sky as she hadn't realized she had tears streaming down her cheeks.

Her temple had a wound from being slammed into the ground with some force by him. Her abdomen was bleeding as she lost track of time. Her name being called out sounded distant to her as she laid there in shock and pain. Unable to heal like she usually would.

Most of the night class had gotten a whiff of her blood in the air and were eager to run to her but stayed when Kaname ordered it before he ran out of the classroom.

Shiki was out the door after him with Akatsuki as they found her lying still on the ground and noticed Zero had arrived at the scene around the same time as them.

"Akemi!" Zero yelled as he immediately landed on his knees and held her head up. Noticing the wound.

"What happened?!" Kaname asked as he crouched down as well. Wiping her cheeks free of the tears.

"I saw him..." Akemi croaked out quietly.

"Saw him? Who's him?" Shiki asked and stood behind Kaname to avoid the sight of her wound at the moment.

"He was here." She took a small breath as Zero could feel her shaking form in his hold.

"We need to get her inside before Aido tries anything." Akatsuki chimed in. "Headmaster Cross will know what to do."

"I can give her my blood-."

"You won't be giving her anything." Zero glared at him before carrying her as he rushed inside. He was growing worried as he passed Yuki on the way and ignored her as he continued.

"Eh? What's going on?" Yuki asked confused before noticing Kaname and the other two vampires behind him.

"Someone attacked Akemi during the patrol." Kaname calmly explained. "We are going to visit Headmaster Cross to see if he can do anything."

"What?! I'm going too!"

"Yuki. We'll handle the rest from here." Kaname responded. "I don't want you to see what we saw. Go to your dorm and wait there. Okay?"

"O-okay Kaname." Yuki nodded in agreement.

Kaname nodded her way before continuing to head to the man's office with the other three who had already arrived.

"HELP HER!" Zero yelled at the man who had raised them the moment he stepped foot into his office.

Kaien was about to make a joke until he noticed who was in his arms. "What happened?" He asked as he got up and rushed him to the couch to set her down.

"I-i don't know. We were doing patrols and things were going well." Zero immediately spoke.

"None of the vampires were out of the classroom either." Shiki informed.

"Even Aido was paying attention for once." Akatsuki chimed in.

Kaien examined her as he lifted her school shirt a bit to look at the wound. "She's not healing properly. Whoever did this probably used something to slow down the process and knows she has this ability."

"Can you help her?" Zero asked as he paced back and forth. Running his hand though his hair.

"I can try. She's somehow still able to heal herself which may take some time but it will heal in few days. Well clean her up and patch the wounds on her. Keep a close eye on her and make sure she doesn't push herself to do things."
