Zero had decided that he wouldn't drink her blood. He couldn't bring himself to hurt her at all as he held her wrist. It had gotten dark and he was on his way back to the academy. Closing his eyes as he was still in his process of getting through his attack.

Akemi noticed as she walked with him. "Zero.." She spoke up. Wanting to tell him that he was holding her wrist too tight before she stopped walking due to another reason.

"What is it?" Zero asked before his senses picked up what was going on until he saw them step out in front of them.

"Zero. Stay back."

"No way. These damn vampires need to keep their hands off us."

"Aido, stop this before you cause trouble." Akatsuki spoke up.

Akemi stood in front of Zero before holding her arms out. "Aido. What are you planning now?"

"Step aside. Zero is one of us. He should learn that sooner or later-."

Akemi walked over before shoving him back. "He's not going to join you if that's what you're here for."

Hanabusa narrowed his eyes as he immediately tried to grab her.

Akatsuki was quicker as he got in front of her. Being shoved aside as he was knocked to the ground. Getting back to his feet in anger.

Zero walked in front of her as he glared. "If you want a fight then you've got one." He sneered at the blonde.

Akemi wanted to deescalate the situation as she noticed the floor freeze. Watching as Akatuski conjured his fire to attack. Grabbing Zero's arm as she moved him back. Raising her hands as the floor was back to normal before sending the Night students back with a simple wave of her hand. "I will not stand here and let you attack out of nowhere." She spoke. "I suggest you go back to your class before things get out of hand."

Shiki noticed as he walked over to her. "Take him and head inside. Me and Akatsuki will make sure they go back."

"I trust you and Akatsuki. I will let Headmaster Cross know what happened here." She informed him before taking Zero with her back inside. Making sure that he could lean against her.

"Why did you stop me? I could've taken them on myself."

"You would've gotten yourself killed."

Zero scoffed as he glanced away. "Is that what you really think of me?"

"No, but you are in pain because you keep ignoring your urge and they are aristocrat vampires with more blood in their systems."

"Akemi-."

"You're the strongest vampire hunter I know, Zero."

Zero listened as he glanced at her. "I am?"

"You are. Let me help you with this."

"Why are you so eager to have me drink from you?"

"I-it's not like that. Don't get the wrong idea." Akemi dropped him off at his dorm before running away to her own dorm. She just didn't like seeing him suffer like that.

The next morning Yuki joined Akemi and Zero for breakfast as Kaien waited for them to take a seat together and taking a picture of them in a happy mood.

Akemi noticed as she glanced up. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Oh, just taking a cute picture of you three. Today is the day you get to do your true job as perfects." Kaien reminded her.
