Akemi was curious about what they were talking about. Following her boyfriend as she held his hand. "Who's she? The woman he mentioned."

"Why? Jealous?"

"Quit teasing me. I want to know too."

Zero glanced over at her. Seeing the puppy eyes she was giving him. "I.. those eyes won't work on me." Turning away from her immediately

"Yes they do. Come on. Look this way."

Zero avoided glancing back at her as they both knew he would definitely fail once he did. "No thanks." He replied.

Akemi thought of an idea on getting him to look her way. "Look at what Kaname gave me-."

Zero's gaze was on her immediately. Realizing he had been tricked as he gave into her. Finding a room as he walked inside.

Her eyes noticed they were in the empty school library as she followed him. Taking a seat across from him.

"The woman he mentioned. You need to stay away from her. Whatever she says or if you ever encounter her."

"Why?" Akemi asked seriously since she knew he wasn't joking around or messing with her.

"She's the one who turned me and killed my family."

"What?" Akemi asked shocked. She had always assumed that the vampire that attacked the Kiryu family had been taken care of. She didn't like the thought that it was alive out there.

Standing up, the sound of the chair scraping the floor for a second filled the room. Replaced with her hands on the table as she stared at him intently.

"W-what?" Zero asked as he sweat dropped.

"She won't ever come near you again. I will make sure of it if you ever see her again." Akemi spoke up. Placing her hand over her heart. "I swear to you that she will be far far away."

Zero listened to her as he was stunned for a few seconds before smiling towards her. "I trust you with my life, Bunny. Keep me safe."

"You've got it!" She beamed. Both of them stopped when the sound of a camera went off. "Huh?"

Zero's smile was replaced with his usual scowl and immediately moved his hand to his holster.

"Don't." Akemi whispered as her hand squeezed the other. "It could be Nadeshiko again." She reminded.

"It's not her this time." Zero reassured her before holding his gun but not pulling it out. Keeping her behind him as he glanced between the bookshelves and then the windows. Sensing no one around anymore.

"It's so strange." Akemi spoke once they were sure no one was around. "I think it must have been a vampire. They were quick enough to leave such a short time."

"I couldn't smell them properly." Zero ran a hand through his hair. "Just ignore it for now. I'll let the Headmaster know what happened here."

Akemi gave a small nod and agreed. "Alright." She spoke before admiring as she smiled a bit.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing. I just feel lucky. Even though your temper scares away many girls you still have many girls who like you."

"They only like me for my appearance. They don't even know the night class and you've seen how they get for them.." Zero mumbled.

"What if I only liked you for your appearance too?"

"I would be disappointed to say the least."

"So harsh." Akemi joked lightly before taking her seat again. Leaning her head back as she closed her eyes.

"Tired already?" Zero asked as he also took his seat once more.

"Mhm. I want to sleep in and miss classes today but we can't. The teacher is always mad at us to begin with." She huffed.

Zero chuckled at her. Watching her pout his way as he got up and sat beside her. Pecking her pout.

Akemi blushed shyly as she gazed at him before placing a hand on his chest. "Q-quit it."

"I'm not doing anything." Zero teased. Placing a peck on her temple next.

"Z-zero. What's gotten into you today?" She asked as she had grown flustered.

"I want to spend some time with my girlfriend. We're already late for class anyways." He spoke as he pecked her cheek.

"How about we do something you like?" Akemi suggested.

"I have something in mind." Zero replied as he got up.

Akemi noticed where they were at the moment. Standing behind him as she noticed the horse in front of them. "Are you sure that she won't mind me?" She asked.

Zero listened as he turned to her. "Lily is not going to hurt you. She will take a liking to you if you approach her calmly. You've met her before."

"Yes. With you by my side as kids when she was smaller." She gripped his blazer as she peeked behind him.

The white horse, named white lily, was known as a very tempered and troubled horse that most students didn't want to ever go near.

"She's so pretty." Akemi gushed quietly. "Can you help me pet her? Please?"

Zero glanced down at her as he admired her. Losing his focus as he held her.

"Zero? Zero? Hello, earth to little fox."

White lily noticed as she strode closer. Biting the male's hair like she usually did. Snapping him out of his trance.

Akemi noticed as she burst into small laughter at the sudden hair biting. She hadn't expected Lily to do something like that.

"Quit laughing! And you!" Zero turned to the horse. "I've told you to quit biting my hair like that!" Holding his girlfriend closer as he huffed. "Come on."

Akemi held onto him as she watched him move closer before gripping onto his arm. "W-wait what if she bites me?"

"She won't bite you."

"She's already bit your hair!"

"Don't you trust me? I'll keep you safe. I promise."

Akemi calmed down as she loosened her hold. "I trust you but she ends up biting me I won't talk to you for a week." She spoke. Walking closer with him to lily as she was still cautious. Feeling him stretch her hand out.

It made him feel relaxed that she would choose to do something he enjoyed. Even if it seemed to make her nervous. Lightly having her pet the horse before them. "Want to do it alone now?"

"Y-yes please." Akemi quietly spoke.

Zero nodded as he removed his hand from hers. Keeping an eye on them both in case Lily tried to attack her.

Akemi was in awe before leaving light pets. "Woah. She's so soft and beautiful up close. How can anyone be scared of her?" She asked before noticing a gleam in Lily's eyes. Feeling her hand being bitten down on as she immediately pulled away.

His eyes caught sight of what happened. Rushing closer as he sent a glare to the horse. "What the hell did you do that for?" Turning to his girlfriend again. "Does it hurt too much? Are you...?" He trailed off when he smelled her blood.

She didn't miss it as she lightly pulled her hand away. "You said she wouldn't bite."

"I thought she wouldn't." Zero replied. Subconsciously moving closer to her as he grabbed her hand once more. Cleaning the wound and wrapping it with his tie for now.

"T-take me back towards the school." She quietly spoke. "I want to feed you but not here. She might attack me again."

Zero held her hand as he left the barn before going to his dorm since it was much loser. Opening the door and letting her inside. His hands removed her blazer and set her shirt down her shoulder slightly.

Akemi shuddered when he licked the area he wanted to bite from. A small hum leaving her lips before holding the back of his head while he drank from her. "Take your time.." She reassured him.
