Akemi remembered she hadn't changed out of her uniform as she sat back up.

"What's the matter?" Zero asked.

"I haven't changed out of my uniform." Akemi spoke as she got out of bed.

"Is it that big of a de-?" He asked as a pillow hit him in the face. "Hey!"

"That's what you get." Akemi huffed before getting her clothes out for the night. "Now turn around."

"I don't feel like it." Zero replied.

Akemi turned red as she faced him. "Aren't you always sleeping? You should be sleeping right about now."

Zero got off her bed before walking over to her. "And you should be getting ready for bed. If you needed my help you could've just ask for it." He joked.

Akemi liked seeing that side of him before choosing to tease him for it. Reaching over for his hand and holding it. "Yes Zero. I need your help. Can you help me?" She asked. Glancing up at him innocently.

Zero blushed slightly at her words but he wouldn't be backing down just because of her. "Hm.. how about asking a bit more nicely?"

Akemi listened as she chuckled. "No way. You said all I had to do was ask and I did."

"A little kindness wouldn't hurt."

"It wouldn't but you'd have to be my boyfriend before I ask you nicely."

Zero blushed a bit more as he pressed his forehead on her shoulder in defeat. "Fine.. you win."

"I win because you don't want to be my boyfriend?" She asked teasingly.

"No.. because I do want to be.. your.. you know.."

"I don't know what you mean. Can you repeat that?"

"You're enjoying this a little too much."

"I don't get to see this side of Zero Kiryu every day."

"On second thought. I changed my mind." Moving his head away from her shoulder.

"Wha-?!" Akemi glanced at him before crossing her arms.

Zero watched her reactions and turned away. Hiding a small smile. "What? I want to hear you say it if it's so easy."

"I'll ask Kaname-."

Zero immediately wrapped his arms around her waist as he glanced at her. "He's not important and doesn't need to be involved here."

"I want to hear you say it then."

"Do I really have to say it out loud?" Zero irked.

"Yes." Akemi spoke. "Please?" She asked as she held her hands together.

Zero irked a bit more before turning to the side. "Fine. I'll only say this one more time. So make sure you're listening." He spoke. Taking a deep breathe before glancing back at her as he placed his hands on her waist gently. Leaning down to her level. "I am in love with you Akemi Yoshino and I want to be with you. To be your partner in crime. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Akemi blushed listening to him. She had thought it would be a simple admission to his feelings but she had never expected those words from him. "Yes. I will be." She replied without a moment of hesitation.

The silver haired male gave a small nod. "You're my girlfriend from now on. So don't go to Kaname for any help or other vampires."

"I like seeing you jealous." She joked.

"Don't think I haven't seen you be jealous. Like that time at the barn or when she had my pictures."

"I-i was not! How did you even know that I was?!"
