Akemi blushed before reaching over as she hooked her index finger with his. "Don't let her touch you like that."

"I won't. I hate when people touch me like that."  Zero spoke as he noticed her expression. "That isn't you, you idiot." He explained.

"Jerk." Akemi huffed. Going back to her ice cream. "Do you think I might have overreacted towards the end?"

"No." Zero spoke as he kept his index finger linked to hers. "I thought you were going to rip her head off and that's when I probably would've intervened."

Akemi listened as she finished her ice cream. She did think she came onto the girl a bit strong after what she had done. Tapping his arm with her head as they walked.

"Are you tired?"

"A little. I usually don't sleep well and last night was the only time I slept for a longer time."

"Is that why you're always close to the first to be in class?"

"Yeah. I always get beat to it though."

Zero finished his ice cream before throwing the trash out. Moving her to the side before kneeling before her. "Get on."

Being taken by surprise by what he did, Akemi eventually climbed onto his back and held onto him securely. "What if someone tries to look under my skirt?"

"I'll use my bloody rose-."

"No violence." Akemi scolded him as he set her back down.

He kept his back facing her before removing his blazer and turning to her. "Lift your arms up."

Akemi did as told. Placing her hands on his shoulders as he tied his blazer around her waist.

"Is that enough?"

"Yes, thank you Zero."

Zero gave a quiet nod before turning back around and kneeling for her.

Her arms snaking around his neck gently as she got on his back and secured her hold on him. "Won't I get heavy for you?"

"Not really." Zero replied before getting back up. Walking in the direction of the school. Making sure that the blazer did it's job of covering her up.

"Okay." He heard a quiet response from the girl on his back. Feeling her lean against him and the way her breathing became lighter and softer. He knew then that she had fallen asleep. A small smile adorning his lips.

Akemi had her eyes closed as her arms around his neck remained the same. Taking in small breaths. There was something about the way that he managed to relax her. She felt safe and didn't have to deal with some bad dreams.

"Rest well, Bunny." Zero mumbled.

Zero had picked the longer way back to the school just to be able to carry her around for a little longer. Letting her sleep. Reaching the school gates as he huffed seeing Yuki waiting for them. Ready for an earful from her.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Yuki asked.

"Keep your voice down."

"No! You left again when we needed help this afternoon for the Night class and you took Akemi with you. Where is she? You two will have to guard tonight while I go to sleep."

Zero felt Akemi had stirred hearing the yelling as he stared at Yuki. "You need to keep your voice down. She's asleep right now."
