Zero joined her as he lightly got up from being next to the bathtub. Removing his school shirt as he left the bathroom for a second. He brought in their towels and dry clean clothes.

Walking back over to the tub as he removed the rest of his clothes and got into the tub with her. Relaxing a bit as he wrapped his arms around his girlfriend. "I like when you keep your hair up now." He spoke to break the silence.

Akemi listened as she felt her cheek stay warm. "Really? I thought you hated it." She joked.

"I only said that because your smell was making me hungrier and I didn't want to have that vampire having his eyes on you."

"But I'm yours."

"Not at that time when you put your hair up in front of him."

"I mean now." Akemi replied as she chuckled lightly. "I'll only put my hair up for you then."

"Just be careful with those bastards."

"I will be very careful." She reassured. Pecking his cheek as she pressed her back to his chest. Relaxing a bit more to the warmth she was feeling.

Zero kept his arms around her waist as he laid her chin on her head. "Akemi.. about what Aido said back there.."

"I don't believe what he says. I know what he doesn't know."

"Did you believe him when we weren't dating?"

"I almost let him drink me dry but Shiki stopped me from doing anything reckless."

"What?! Why didn't I know about this?"

"I was thinking it was nothing serious. You were acting on your feelings and I reacted on my own. We all could see you liked Yuki. I have known you developed feelings for her since the day before I left." Lightly getting more into the water.

"I liked you first. There was just.. after you left we grew a bit closer and then you returned and I was confused on how I felt between you both of them."

"You don't have to explain it to me. You can't always control who you like. If I'm being honest I did have a crush on someone else too before we got together."

"Who did you crush on?"

"Um.. well.. you wouldn't really like my answer to that question."

"It can't be that bad. Who is it?"

"Well.. they are Shiki Senri and Akatsuki Kain."

"Seriously? You liked those damn vampires?"

"Aren't you a vampire too? I guess I have a thing for cute little vampires like yourself."

Zero narrowed his eyes as he held her waist. Leaning down as he bit her shoulder gently. Not with his fangs or the intent to drink her blood.

"H-hey! If you are getting jealous then bite something else, not me!" She pouted.

"I don't like that you hang out with them. They like you back and that damn pure blood has his eyes on you." Zero replied as he didn't release her.

"I only see them as friends."

"Only friends?"

"Don't you have a little trust in me?"

"I do. Just making sure that you don't have any left feelings for either of them." He huffed.

Akemi lightly turned in his arms before placing her hands on his shoulders. "Why would I when my future husband is right here?" She asked softly.

Zero listened as he turned red hearing her. Pulling her closer as he hid his face into her shoulder. "I can't.." He mumbled.

"You can't what?" Akemi asked.

"I can't handle how you can say things like that so easily. You speak so freely about our relationship."

A small giggle left her lips as she watched how flustered he would get. "My very lovely boyfriend tends to be more hotheaded and shy. I do like the rare moments that you get to show me your cute sides and I cherish them dearly. Like when you said you loved me for the first time or that time when you chose to get us couple rings."

Zero listened to her as he pulled away a bit. Holding her hand as he noticed the ring still on her finger. "Have you taken it off yet?"

"No. Why would I? We do have some tense moment in our relationship but I think we can work things out if we want our relationship to bloom even more than now."

His hand holding hers began to gently trace the ring as he thought about a few things. "I do want us to work out. You know me better than most people. You're the first one I spoke to when I got here and told my story to. You never judged me for being who I am."

"I wouldn't judge you for being something you can't control. I was very happy you chose me to open up to but you also listened to me open up to you. All I want is what is good for you and keeping everyone safe. You are included in that. You must be tired. Come on. Let's get to bed."

Zero leaned down as he gave her a small gentle peck. "Of course my future wife."

Akemi blushed deeply as she got out of the tub and grabbed her towel. Covering herself up as she knew why he would get shy about her saying it.

"Cat got your tongue?" Zero teased as he laughed lightly. Grabbing his towel and wrapping it around himself. "I thought you liked saying it so much."

"I-it's different when you say it." She mumbled.

"Or you couldn't handle it." He joked and kept teasing her about it. "I'll change outside. Okay?"

"Okay but don't fall asleep without me."

"Yeah, yeah. No falling asleep without you." He walked out of the bathroom with his clothes in hand. Shutting the door behind him before moving to her bed. Drying himself completely before getting dressed. Placing a towel on his head once he was done.

Akemi was done changing in no time as she walked out dressed and drying her hair with her towel. Walking over as she sighed. "Don't just leave the towel on like that. Dry yourself before you catch a cold."

"I won't get sick." Zero reassured. "But you will if you keep drying me."

"I'm doing fine." Akemi replied before sneezing again.

Zero pulled her onto her bed when he heard her. Wrapping her in her blanket before drying her hair for her gently with the towel. Keeping her in his arms for extra warmth.

"I'm really okay." Akemi softly spoke.

"Just relax. I don't want to take the chances of you getting ill. Last time you got sick you couldn't get out of bed for days and we were kids." He replied.

"You're so warm." She mumbled as she closed her eyes. "I'm just..."

"You're tired. Get some rest. I won't be gone in the morning."

"Promise?" Akemi asked half-asleep.

"Promise." Zero reassured as he placed a small kiss to her forehead. Glancing down at her in his arms and noticing how quick she was to fall asleep the moment he had promised.

He didn't mind it as he knew why she would ask him that every time he was there with her. He wouldn't allow her to be hurt by anyone again.

Bringing his attention back to the towel and finished drying her hair as he set it aside. Laying back with her as he made sure it was comfortable. Placing his chin on her head and running his hand through her hair. Inhaling her scent as he liked it. It soothed him more than anything else.

Closing his eyes and using his hearing to make sure that the halls and outside her dorm was empty. He'd hate for one of the vampires to have snuck inside. Mainly knowing of one vampire who would even try. He relaxed when he heard nothing around them and drifted off to sleep with her.
