I am not a doctor so the diagnoses in the end might be wrong, I tried my best to describe it, but bear with me!

Outside of the main gate stood a girl arguing with security. She wanted to get into the gated community, but it was hard, since nobody seemed to recognize her. It didn't help that it was the security guard's first week on the job.

"Usually people come in a car or something like that. We can't just let anyone in. Can I get the phone number of the people you're going to visit, so I can get a confirmation?" The young guard tried to find the girl in the databases. All he got on the name was a picture of an adorable toddler that looked nothing like the beautiful almost adult woman standing in front of him.

"I've told you so many times now, it is me on the picture. If you look at the date it was taken you'll see that the picture was taken thirteen years ago!" The girl was getting frustrated. She had been standing outside of the gated community her brothers lived in for an hour. She had watched car after car get in without any luck of getting in herself.

They had offered to call one of her brothers, but had declined it because she wanted to surprise them. Who would've known that after a three hours plane ride and one hour by taxi, the hardest part would be to get through a gate 100 meters away from her destination.

"Is there a problem here?" A harsh voice asked.
The girl looked up at an older well built man. He looked slightly familiar. She recognized him as the nice man who always greeted his older brothers. She remembered times when she had to drag Alex away from him because they loved to talk about nothing for way to long.

After she did that Alex would always tell her that it was rued to walk away from someone while they had a conversation. But Alex continued to let her drag him away. It couldn't be that rude if he continued to walk with her.

"Yes sir. This girl is trying to get in, but her profile haven't been updated in thirteen years. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to let her in." The young guard looked relieved when the older guard showed up. He could finally lean on someone.

The older man took a look at the profile, then at the smiling girl in front of him. "I'll be damned. It's little Melody." He said. A wide grin stretched across his face.
"You did everything right. I'll be sure to update the profile. She's good to go." The older man praised the younger one.

The gate opened and the older man reached his hand out for Melody to shake. "Is good to see you again." Melody piped up, not sure what to say to the older man.

"Likewise little lady. Didn't recognize you at first, but I knew you were coming. Alex haven't been able to shut up about finally getting custody." The man smiled. Alex saw him as an uncle. He told him almost everything that went on, and he knew the man wouldn't tell anyone, except for the ones involved of course.

"I should probably get going. I haven't answered my brothers text or calls for five hours. They're probably going mad by now." Melody joked. Mostly to get out of the conversation.

"Always busy, still can't stay in boring conversations for more than a minute." The man winked at her, chuckling as a small blush crept upon her face. "I'm joking. Run along." The man nudged her slightly with his shoulder. Letting a comforting laugh rumble.

Melody ran from the gate. She hadn't seen her brothers in what felt like forever. She couldn't wait to be in the arms of someone she could trust one hundred percent.

When Melody ran up to her brothers house, soon to be her home, she saw several cars parked outside. She knew her brothers owned one car each, but since there was six cars parked outside, she came to the conclusion that her brothers had guests.
