Hallucinations [HxH story]

Before you read

Hey, so before you read the story let me clarify some things. 

For starters, if you didn't already know, this story is about schizophrenia. I personally do not have schizophrenia, I do have an older brother who has schizophrenia and lived with us for about a few months until he left. Some of the things I write will be based off of what I've seen and what I've heard from him. Also, I have done some research before hand on the subject. Some of the things I write won't be 100% correct and if I write something that isn't true please fill free to message me about it and educate me. I don't want to hurt a whole community for a mistake and I definitely don't want to be ignorant on the subject.

Secondly, I'm not a writer. This is my first time writing a story and to be honest I suck ASS at writing. Especially when it comes to describing emotion, I really can't write about emotion unless I'm actually feeling something similar to it (it's weird ik). If you guys have tips for me please give me some! I would really appreciate it. Also my wording is very weird and it gets so bad to the point where the writing doesn't make any sense and I don't realize how ugly it sounds until I read it the next day.

Also if it isn't already obvious, this is an AU!! None of these things are canon in HxH and I'm gonna change and add a lot of stuff like he characters lore and personality. These are not my characters and know what I write here is not canon to the anime. Regarding the Killugon, its gonna be a slow burn. To be completely honest, I'm horrible at romantic. I'm aromantic so writing romantic stuff between gon and killua is gonna be hard for me and it might take awhile before anything happens.

Finally, aside from schizophrenia research, I try to research anything else I write about in this story and again I may mess up on research and write something that probably isn't true. So please please please correct me if I do. And this story will have heavy topic that are listed in the disc.  

One last thing, just know that everyone has different experiences with schizophrenia and not everyone has the same symptoms or reactions to it. The way Gon experiences schizophrenia in this story can be completely different than another person's experience.

(One final thing, I don't know who drew the original art for my cover. I can't find the person responsible anywhere. All I personally did was isolate Gon, add a reflection, and add the eyes. I didn't draw Gon!! If anyone knows who the artist is, please please please give me their acc so I can properly credit them!)
