AUTHOR'S P.O.V
Skye smiled proudly. Her results were good. She'd had A's. "Wait till they see this." She thought happily. She was so lost in thought that she accidentally bumped into someone.
"Hey! Watch it!" She yelled before staring at the man before her.
Ohmigosh!, She thought. He is so cute. The man she had bumped into had dirty blond hair and chocolate brown eyes. He was tall, a bit on the lanky side and was dressed in a blue suit, holding a briefcase, probably on his way to work.
"I'm sorry. Are you okay?" He inquired, his eyes filled with worry.
Skye blushed. "Y-yeah... it's just I'm in a hurry to get home."
He nodded in understanding with a smile that Skye found cute. "That's fine. Perhaps I could drop you off...?"
"No. It's fine. I'm with my friends anyway." She turned back to the two girls who stood behind her, smiling coyly at the man. Skye rolled her eyes and turned back to the man.
"I must be on my way then. Bye ladies." With a grin cast their way, he walked away. They watched as he got into a Mercedes Maybach and drove away from the parking lot.
"Does he live here?" She asked her friends who shared an apartment.
The two girls nodded. "Just moved in a week ago." Said the shorter of the two. She was a blue-eyed blonde with a curvaceous body that made up for the height she lacked.
"He's sooo cute..." Skye cooed. She had always been a sucker for cute guys. Her friends laughed.
"How'd you get home?" She asked Skye as they walked out of the parking lot to wait in front of the apartment complex.
"Don't worry Tatia. Acio would pick me up." She answered with a tight smile.
Tatia smiled. "Acio? I'll wait with you till he comes."
The other girl Lisa, and Skye rolled their eyes at the blonde. Tatia had a major crush on Acio since childhood and no matter what vile things Skye sputtered about him, her infatuation with him remained.
"Sure." Skye replied coolly feeling irritable all of a sudden.
"So when's the grand wedding?" Lisa asked.
"I told you already. There's no grand wedding." Skye grated with exasperation.
Lisa pouted. "I forgot. It's just I want to attend your sister's wedding but it's a court wedding. Ugh."
Skye snorted. " Even if it wasn't a court wedding who said I'd invite you?"
Lisa looked hurt. "What?"
Skye laughed. "I was kidding. I'm happy for Valerie. Her fiancé is hot."
"Well Valerie is fucking hot. I hate to admit but she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. It's so sad what happened to her." Tatia said sadly.
"I know."
Lisa rolled her eyes at the two. They were so fucking emotional! "Is the guy as hot as you say?''
