SKYE

"Have this Acio."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the scene in front of me. Tatia had her hand stretched out to Acio as she offered him a piece of chocolate.

Since I'd lost the bet, I had to be present in all of Tatia's tutoring sessions and was forced to watch her unbearably play the lovestruck girl in a cliché movie.

Acio shook his head in the negative, declining her offer. Tatia pouted, unhappy.

"Please just a bite. " She whined.

Acio hesitated and Tatia decided to put her acting skills to the test. Her eyes teared up as her lips quivered slightly.

"I haven't poisoned it I swear. Please Acio." She begged pathetically, making me cringe. Girl where's your pride?

I watched as Acio unwilling took a bite as Tatia grinned like a fool. I felt a pang of jealousy and even as I chanted in my head that I had no right to be, it was still there, the jealousy.

"Let's continue, shall we?" Acio said.

Tatia rolled her eyes. "Let's take a break okay? Aren't you exhausted?"

Acio sighed and turned to look at me, looking desperate. I shrugged, looking away.

"Then I'll see you tomorrow." He said and started to walk away.

Tatia, in a desperate attempt to follow after him, hastily shot up from her seat but the chair tripped her and she fell.

She yelled in pain as I rushed towards her. Acio was beside us in an instant. We tried to help her up but she refused, saying she'd twisted her ankle.

I glanced at her ankle. It was red and looked like it needed attention. I didn't know what to do and glanced at Acio.

He sighed and carried her off the ground as she tightened her arms around his neck, clinging to him; the sight made me sick. I glanced away, jealousy and hurt gnawing at my every nerve.

She's hurt, she can't walk.

I chanted but one look at the duo and I felt like murdering Tatia. I lagged behind, trying to control my emotions as we made our way to the kitchen through the back door.

Acio settled her into one of the chairs in the kitchen. Abuelita appeared then. She first glanced at Acio then me before her glance rested on Tatia's sore ankle.

"What happened?" She inquired.

"I sprained my ankle." Tatia replied sheepishly, blushing in embarrassment.

"Oh dear. The two of you, out. Let me see that ankle, Tatiana." She said.

"Why?" Tatia questioned as confused as we were.

"Because I want privacy and you don't want to be heard screaming like a pig to be slaughtered when I am going to help that ankle. Not an attractive sight I tell you."

Tatia visibly paled as it dawned on her. I knew what she was thinking. If Acio saw her in that state, it would be embarrassing and unappealing. She had to look attractive at all times. I would've laughed if Abuelita hadn't shot me a warning glare.
