As soon as we left the school we all decided that we would go to a small cafe and get some lunch there, I really liked Nova she seemed like a sweet girl

When i heard that conversation to her mother my heart broke for her, she was 14 years old who already had to support herself, she was a child she should be being looked after which is why when Anthony told me about this i offered to take her under my wing and so did Chris and Lizzie

All three of us are best friends which is why we all did it together as well, we can all see that Nova is a stubborn girl and not used to being told to do stuff so its going to be hard to parent her whilst she is in the states with us, it is also going to be hard for her as she has only been in London her whole life and this is her first project with acting

After lunch me and Lizzie head back to the apartment we are staying in whilst we are in London, we only have 5 days before we go back to LA so we decided to rent a place for the time we are staying here, when Nova finishes school i plan to message her and see how she is because i would imagine that she is freaking out, i know she was freaking out about how we were in the school, she didnt expect for this to happen but i was so grateful that she got the opportunity because i watched her audition clip and she was phenomenal

*time skip to 4:30pm*

Nova pov

I just got out of school, it is 4:30 and if you are wondering i normally do not finish at this time but my stupid maths teacher gave me an hour detention because i was speaking with Harry, but he did not give Harry one which i found super unfair

Most days i do not stay til the end of the school day and i leave and go to work, Mr Bedford hates when i do that but i cant skip work because i have to pay for my rent otherwise i would be homeless but luckily i have a shit today that starts at 5:30 to 11, even though i wasnt allowed to do the late shifts because of my age i still do them because i need the money and not many of the older staff want to be staying later but i have nothing to look forward to when i go home so i would rather be here

Im on way home to go and get changed out of my uniform, i normally bring my uniform in my school bag but today i was in a rush and it was fine because i have an hour before my shift starts so i quickly go back to my room and get changed, whilst i get changed i see a few messages pop up on my screen but i decide that i would read them on my way to work

Then the realisation came to my head that i have to hand in my weeks notice before i leave, i had to quit my job, even though i didnt like my job it was the only thing that was keeping me entertained, well i guess that my new acting job will also keep me entertained

I get into work and put my stuff in the staff lockers and head to the managers office, me and Kevin get on sometimes but he does my head in most of the time, i knock on his office door and hear a muffled come in and i step into his office smiling at him

"Oh God Nova what have you done now, you only knock and smile when you have done something"
Kevin quickly said and the worry on his face made me burst out laughing

I quickly regained myself and walked over to his desk and placed the weeks notice, he looked at the paper then looked up with me and i saw the sadness but anger in his face

"WHAT YOUR LEAVING?" he shouted causing me to smile and nod sadly

"Yeah kevin, i leave for LA on saturday i finally got an acting job which was my biggest dream" i say trying to hide my excitement so that it would make him less angry

But to my suprise he came over and hugged me telling me he was so proud of me, over these few months i have been working here i looked up to Kevin he was like my dad in some ways, he would always tell me off about my behaviour in school but then let it go quickly knowing that i wouldnt listen to anyone
