novas pov

As soon as we got home i was led into the living room where Scarlett stood infront of me staring me down

"Why did you decide to go in the ocean Nova it is freezing out and you were with Jack in there doing god knows what" she questioned as soon as i sat down in the chair not even letting me grab a towel for my now stringing wet hair, i brought my knees up to my chest for some warmth and Scarlett noticed this and she wrapped a bug fluffy blanket around me

"Im sorry Scarlett, Jack said it seemed like fun and i didnt want to exactly tell him that i couldnt it would have ruined the day and im sorry i lost track of time i know we were meant to meet back in the cafe" i apologise as i didnt want this conversation to go on much longer i felt myself getting more drowsy as the minutes passed and Scarlett broke from her standing position and came and sat down next to me and i cuddled into her side feeling the extra warmth of her

"I know your sorry Nova but i dont want you swimming when its this cold, you are going to get sick if you do especially in a bikini and speaking of that where did you even get it from?" Scarlett asks as i snuggled more into her side and i answered quickly "Hm we went shopping before we went to the beach and i bought the matching set for me and Jack because i thought it was cute" i tell her and she raised her eyebrows at me pointing at all the bags in the corner now and i didnt realise i had actually bought that much

"I know you get your own money Nova but im thinking we should put some of your money into an account for the future and Colin and I will have the password and stuff but no one will touch it, i know you may feel like we are taking your money away Nova but i will still let you have some of your money i just dont want you spending it on random things just because you have the money" she tells me and i didnt know at first but the more i thought about it she was right i had like 800k from infinity war with all the royalties and stuff that was just sitting in there and i knew myself too much that i would end up buying useless shit

"Yeah i think its a good idea Scarly" i tell her resting my head on her shoulder smiling and she pulls me onto her lap with the back of my head resting on her chest, she kisses the top of my head before she tells me she will have it sorted "How much do you have in there Nova i know you get paid with the interviews and all the other stuff you did for press but i dont know how much you have?" she asked just as i was about to drop off to sleep and i sleepily replied "Last i checked about 800" i tell her and she nodded but i could tell she looked a bit shocked probably thinking i had more than that

"800 dollars i thought you got more dont tell me you have spent it Nova" she said sounding really scary right now and i nodded my head on her chest "800 grand i have in there" i tell her as i get into a more comfortable position and i dont think she expected it to be that much as i didnt hear another word out of her so i grabbed my phone from next to her and showed her the money in my bank

"I mean a couple hundred was from savings from my old job and i had it transferred into dollars when i found out i was coming here" i tell her and i feel head fall onto mine and she rests it there as i quickly fall asleep as the silence was back

Scarletts pov

I was shocked to say the least, she had so much money in her account and she had lost her card about 2 times since she had got here so i had to put some of the money up for her in the future and she is only 15 she doesnt need all the money now anyways, i mean im going to let her have some money in there so she can still go out and stuff but i wasnt letting her pay for anything around the house just because she had money from marvel doesnt mean she had to pay for stuff she was still a child

I carefully slipped out of her grip as i left her sleeping on the couch and i placed a pillow under her neck so she didnt get any cramps when she woke up, i walked to Colin and Rose in the kitchen who were apparently trying to make some dinner but it looked like they were having a food fight and i was going to let them have their fun until i heard a splat on my chest, i look down to see mash splattered on my chest and i look to see Colin gulp as Rose was giggling beside him "Colin Jost what the hell do you think you are doing?" i yelled as quietly as possible because i knew Nova was still sleeping in the next room and he moved back in fear

"Im so sorry Scar i didnt mean to" he was quick to apologise so whilst he was distracted i grabbed a hand ful of flour and chucked it at him covering his whole face with it, i laughed as i see him coughing and spluttering as some of the flour had fallen into his mouth, i grabbed a towel and got the mashed potatoes off my shirt the best i could before i picked Rose up and cuddled her as she laughed

Me and Colin drew a truce and i dont think he wanted to but he knew i would go extreme so he didnt want to test it at all, we finish making dinner an hour later and i dont know it to wake Nova up or not because she was pretty tired, i decide to let her sleep and wrap her dinner up in tinfoil putting it into the fridge for her when she wakes up

"Col you know i had a chat with Nova and i was thinking of creating a bank account for her" i tell him whilst Rose is currently distracted with her food and he looked at me confused "She already has a bank account Scar" he said like it was common knowledge and i sighed as i realised he didnt get what i was saying "Yes i know that Col i mean another one for her money for when she is older because she told me how much she has in there from infinity war and i dont really want her keeping it and spending it all on random stuff" i tell him as i continue to eat and i see his eyebrows raise in interest "Wait how much has she even got in there it cant be that much she has only done one movie and the next one is due in December to film" he asked me and i smiled knowing he would totally flip over how much she got from it all "She has around 800k in there Colin she showed me her bank account and its there" i inform him and his mouth opens wide in shock as he looked at me not believing me and i simply nod telling him it is true

"Alright then is she okay with her money going up til she is 18 then?" Colin asked me and i nodded telling him about the conversation we had about it and we would have access to it but we wouldnt touch any of the money unless she wanted it, Colin agreed he would help me do it tomorrow before he stood up and took the plates to the dishwasher loading them immediately so i took this opportunity to go and check on Nova to see if she was awake yet, i pushed the door open to see she was still asleep but she had changed positions as she was now curled up into a ball and i kissed her forehead before i stroked some of the hair out of her face thinking about how lucky we are that we finally have Nova here with us, but i had to wake her up as she needed to eat before she sleeps as we have the Jimmy Fallon interview tomorrow and i didnt want her to be moody for that because i know if she is in a good mood she would love it, i pulled her body up and put it against me as i kissed all around her face because i know this will wake her up

"Hmmm" she moaned as she tried to lay back down and go back to sleep but i kept a tight grip on her so she would wake up "Baby you need to wake up so you can have some dinner and then bed" i tell her stroking more baby hairs out of her face and she buries her head under my armpit which i chuckled at and i picked her up placing her on my hip as we walked to the kitchen

"Baby we made some mash if you want that and we have some chicken" i tell her but i dont get much of an reply because she is still half asleep so i gently shake her up and down hoping it would cause her to be more alert. but she groaned putting her head down muttering "No i dont want that" and i sighed as i tried to think of other things she could eat "What about some fruit baby i have some strawberries and melon your favourite" i stroke the back of her hair and she nods on my chest, i smile as i get some of the fruits out and cutting it with one hand as i still have my other hand supporting Nova on my side, Colin walks in and takes the knife away and does it because he doesnt want me to accidentally hurt one of us if i slipped my hand or something

I sat Nova down on the countertop and placed some of the fruits in her mouth as she chewed it, soon enough she was all finished and i led her upstairs getting her in her pyjamas and tucking her in and i kiss the top of her head heading towards the door and i hear a little quiet "Thank you mama" and my heart melted at her but i wasnt sure if she was actually awake or not but i make my way over to her and hug her

"Im sorry Scarlett i didnt mean to" i hear her pipe up after a couple of minutes and she turns around to face me and i quickly tell her "You can call me mom Nova you are my daughter and that will never change" and i see her smile as she leaned into me "I love you mom" and before i could even respond she was asleep with her head on my lap again so i figured it would be easier for me to stay there night with my baby
