Novas pov

I could hear voices around me but I couldn't open my eyes I tried so hard to open them but it was like they were glued shut

"Hey Nono I don't know if you can hear us but we are here waiting for you to wake up" I hear a voice around me and I knew it was mama Lizzie and I just wanted to be in her arms right now

"Doctor said she should be waking up soon Lizzie don't worry" I hear Florence tell Liz and I feel a hand being put on mine

I try to open my eyes and I see a glimpse of Lizzie but I quickly shut them as the lights were too bright and it hurt my eyes "Mini the lights are off try and open your eyes" I hear Florence say and I tried again

Florence's pov

I knew she was trying to open her eyes as I saw her eyes fluttering but the light was too bright so I got Lizzie to turn the light off to help her and as soon as she did i saw her open her eyes and smile at us

"Hey guys" she tells us as she tries to move to sit up but she can't because her arm is connected to some wire to keep it elevated and I see her face scrunch up in confusion as she can't move

"Nono you have to keep it like that until the doctor comes and checks on you" Lizzie tells her stroking the top of her hair and she nods before moving so Lizzie can sit next to her

"Right I'm going to go and get the doctor Nova because he said something about your arm and I can't explain what he told us so I'll get him" I tell them before leaving and finding the doctor who fixed Novas arm

I brought him back in the room and he rushed over to Nova and did a quick check up on her shining the light in her eyes and everything and he told her she should keep the arm connected to the wire for a while as she will be in pain but she didn't have to if she wanted, I see her try to open her mouth to tell him to get her out of it but Lizzie sent her a look that made her rethink her decision and she told him she will keep it on for a few hours

"Okay so we fixed the brake in your hand but you damaged the nerves Nova so you will have to go through physical therapy for you to start moving your hand as they were damaged, I'm sure it will all be okay if you attend physical therapy" The doctor explained to her and I see she looked scared as they were telling her she may not be able to move the hand again without physical therapy, after the doctor left Nova told us she wanted to speak with Scarlett and I shoved the phone in her direction because Scarlett had been calling every hour since we got here to check up on her

Scarlett's Pov

I sat in my office trying to get stuff ready for the launch of my skincare brand but I couldn't think about anything other than Nova, I had been calling Liz and Flo for updates but they tell me the same things that she just got out of surgery or that they were waiting for her to wake up and my mind was spiralling what if something happened to her and I wasn't there?

I was drawn out of my thoughts when my phone ran through out the house from the kitchen and I rushed to the kitchen immediately and picked it up when I saw Florence requesting a face time and I smiled when I saw it was Nova

"Hello my beautiful girl I was waiting for you to call" I tell her as I see her smile when she saw me, she looks like she is in pain

"They told me I have to do physical therapy Scarly I don't want to do it" she tells me as she starts to cry and my heart broke for her

"I know you don't baby but Florence told me if you don't there is a chance you won't be able to use your hand again and I'll be there every step of the way for this I promise you Nova bear" I tell her keeping my tears in as I don't want to upset her by crying
