"I told you we didn't have time to have a brew before we left!" Tatum moaned as she tapped her fingers on the steering wheel.

"Listen," Beth said as she held her hand up in protest. "If we set off before I had a cuppa, I would have been grouchy. And nobody wants that. So suck it up and put your foot down."

The two had decided to drive to St George's park together. Leah had gone up with Alessia and Lotte, and for someone evidently made a mistake in counting the numbers by letting Tatum and Beth drive up together. The World Cup was in 3 weeks, they were to drive to St George's where they'd spend a few days before jetting off to Australia and getting prepared.

"I'm doing 85, Mead."

"Yeah, boring. I'm hungry." Beth said, ignoring Tatum's complaints, the big sign for McDonalds coming up quickly catching her attention. "There's a Maccies, there."

"We're already late, we can't." Tatum said before pursing her lips and quickly glancing at Beth out of the corner of her eye. "Can we?"

"Nooooo. Before a World Cup too..." Beth trailed off as she finished, copying Tatum's movements of glancing over at the girl.

"Yeah, definitely. We can't."

The two sat in silent for a moment, the only sound coming from the music playing through the AUX and Tatum's fingers tapping on the wheel.

"I mean, even if we were quick, it's unhealthy, isn't it." Tatum reasoned, the McDonalds sign now catching her own eyes.

"Right, like it's so unhealthy." Beth agreed before taking a deep breath and continuing. "I mean, if we got pancakes and some fruit bags it's not too bad, you know?"

"Fruit gives you energy!" Tatum shouted.

"I mean technically we'd be just preparing ourselves. We'd just have to eat it in the car whilst we move." Beth said, nodding her head in certainty.

Tatum nodded with a smile and changed lanes so she could turn off into the McDonald's drive thru.

"Okay, so what are you getting?" Beth asked.

Tatum rubbed her hand together as she they got closer to the window. "Double sausage and egg McMuffin with two hash browns, you?"

"Same."

"Secrets forever?" Tatum quickly asked and stuck out her pinky.

"Secrets forever."

"Right, remember, we've been here the whole time." Beth instructed as they jumped out of Tatum's rental and grabbed their bags quickly.

"We've been here the whole time." Tatum repeated as she began walking to the entrance.

"Just act casual."

"Casual, yeah." Tatum repeated again. "You have egg on your face." She mumbled as she glanced at Beth walking next to her.

"Beth, TK!" They heard a voice interrupt them before Beth could open her mouth. Looking towards the source of the voice, their heads turned in sync, over achieving grin appearing on their face as they were met with Emma from the social media team greeting them with a camera in her hand.

"Em, hey!" Beth greeted.

"We've been here the whole time." Tatum blurted out. Lying isn't her best skill.

Beth turned to look at Tatum with a subtle glare before nudging the girl with her elbow.

"Oh...I thought I just seen you pull up...I just assumed there was traffic." Emma replied.
