Updates will be slowing down a little on Patreon (Only) so if your thinking about joining and see that I'm not as active it's because I'm moving this month and will be settling down in a new house within the next three weeks or so.
It took almost two more hours till Redline arrived again; I'd been busy using (Dash) in-between pulses of the old man's radar to grab something, and bring it somewhere else. Freezing with whatever it was in my paws, or stopping from where I was dragging something for a moment when a pulse came through, before continuing on as if nothing was wrong...
...By the time Red appeared, I'd just finished displaced every vase and torch in the house. Putting them in places where they weren't likely to break, or light the house on fire. Though if they did it probably wouldn't last long since there were those blue-crystal tube things that shot water like a hose almost everywhere on the property: I would've thought that they were intentionally leaving the broken ones outside in a small pyramid, but even those ones worked!
I totally didn't accidentally turn the middle one on the bottom row on and blast myself with water, causing the entire pyramid to fall over in a giant heap of metal tubes...with one of them still on.
Nope. Not me.
Redline looked dead, or almost dead, with how slow she was walking up the path leading to the house. I watched her from the top floor, taking a moment from my constant (Dash)ing around the house to look out the window randomly every ten minutes or so. I was half tempted to go over and put something at ankle height just to serve as a welcome home, but it seemed that Pops already knew she was home as his pulsing had stopped and he suddenly appeared on the steps up to the red-tinted, raised cement platform that lead to the front door.
I looked at my level in (Dash), and seeing that it was at level 39, I decided that it was good enough to stop there until I wanted to do this again. I'd been able to displace pretty much everything in the house--except for the beds...those were bolted to the floor for some reason. There was no way everything could be put back within a short amount of time after this. None...

"I'm guessing Freija got to you, and that's why you haven't been home for the past...eight hours?" My attention was stolen as Pops started speaking and I looked out of the window again to see that Red had finally reached the front porch. He was looking at her with both arms crossed over his chest, as uncomfortable as that seemed for him it sure complimented his already intimidating stature...
Red's ears drooped and she looked away ashamed, "I don't want to talk about it. I'm sorry for not sending word that I was going to be gone that long, and she told me to let you know she has plans involving me for this next week." I opened the window as quickly, and as quietly as I could, to slip out onto the roof and make my way down to them, but I clearly didn't do a good enough job because not only did Redline's ears twitch but Pops' mouth curved up into a slight smirk.
I cringed internally as I closed the window again and carefully made my way to the edge of the roof looking to where I could jump and make the least amount of noise: concrete or bushes, hmm. I looked at what looked to be a medium-small tree a little ways away and decided that trying to jump to that was probably a lot easier than trying to land silently on the ground, hard or not.
I turned away from the two but kept my ears partially trained on them to hear what was going on, but for some reason everything was silent: It was probably just him thinking about what to do...I payed little attention towards that and lined myself up with the tree a few meters away, just at the edge of the path and with what looked like a tail's-length away from the concrete. I set my fore-paws on the edge, dug in the claws of my rear ones, and jumped.
