I'm procrastinating again:
The Procrastination of a Nation,
Put in a Mason.
All of my Nation,
BURNS.<3rd POV>
Shri'n'thyl screamed in pain as Wreign's claws dug into his face; they both went crashing to the side, dragging a large funnel through the ground. Wreign continuing to claw, bite, and rip the Blood-Moons Elf to shreds as they destroyed the ground in their path. Freija watched on in fascination and slight discomfort knowing how much more powerful Wreign could get at any moment. Getting to a point where even Pops might have trouble keeping him contained enough for the spell to wear off without hurting Wreign too much.
Shri'n'thyl screamed in pain again as the gigantic wolf-man on-top of him tore into his arm with his maw, unable to go for this neck due to the bands of fire constantly assailing him from every direction as the Elf fought for an ounce of freedom from under the onslaught of a (Berserk) Wolf. Shri'n'thyl gathered enough power to blast Wreign into the air only a length up, but it was enough for the Elf to disappear from that spot and reappear several lengths in the air, between the two of us with a reddish potion already in hand.
Luckily he didn't waste time drinking it as Wreign immediately turned and lept in his direction, aiming to once again get his claws hooked into anywhere they could get and take the Elf out of the air again. Freija decided to let this play out and take more of a background role in assisting Wreign. Since the wolf had pretty much turned the fight from being outgunned to a one-sided beat-down. She put up barriers in Wreign's blind-spots when Shri'n'thyl tried to attack with whips or spikes, and when he tried to focus on her Wreign jumped in and took a piece from the Elf...literally.
But they were on a clock, as with every strike Wreign grew more and more powerful, his strikes and strength being fueled by the anger he'd been consumed by when realizing what Shri'n'thyl planned to do with Freija. Making him helpless and unaware to her pain due to being trapped in a reality-bending illusion.
The only reason he'd broken out of it was because of (Berserk) and hearing Freija's shouts of pain under Shri'n'thyl's assault of pseudo-flame constructs: He'd ignored the onslaught of enemies before him in favor of leaping directly towards where she'd screamed, growing ever angrier the closer he'd gotten.
(Berserk) was a skill that amplified the strength of all stats by 200% for a period of around ten minutes at the highest level, but Wreign's level for the skills was still in the single digits so he was only able to use at most a minute if he pushed himself past the limit. Freija kept Wreign from harm with her barriers and Wreign kept at pressuring the Elf into a proverbial corner but Shri'n'thyl wasn't having any of it.
Shri'n'thyl's face had healed from the myriad of cuts inflicted upon it by Wreign and the potion he'd taken was able to fully heal the arm from it's state of being half torn off, and as the seconds ticked by the more and more the Elf healed from any wounds.
"I was having fun earlier," Shri'n'thyl growled, "You just had to go mad and ruin it." He then disappeared and the next instant he reappeared before Wreign, a fist deep into his chest: following through with the punch and blasting Wreign into the far distance before turning to Freija with an angry glare.
Freija looked towards where Wreign had been blasted out at in shock and dread. If Wreign wasn't able to completely overpower this Elf alone, even with her help, that meant that his ability either wasn't as powerful as she thought, or that Pops' had been going easy on them the entire time...throughout all of the many duels they'd had against The Demon, and yet it seemed like they hadn't even come close to a challenge for him.
"I'm going to trap you in an illusion so strong you won't have to worry about dying from it first," He rose higher into the air and rose both arms, pointed at Freija. "You'll just lose your mind first, you pest" He seemed to just about to cast the spell when what looked like a vial of glass hit his side at an incredibly high speed.
