They were standing in the ran, covered by the umbrella shared. Surrounded by the sounds of cars honking and splashing through puddles. As well as the sounds of people busy walking by and rushing through the rain.
Yet everything felt slow. It felt as though the spotlight was hitting on only her and Heeseung.
He slid is hand off her arm and down towards her hand. Interlocking theirs together. Rue looked up at him blankly. Her heart beat almost audible.
He only smiled at her with sweet eyes, and knelt his head closer to hers. She could almost feel his breathing on her.
He bent over and put his head near hers. Whispering something in her ear.
"Ruru... " He whispered softly. "You're so cute, you know that."
Rue felt her cheeks blush red. She moved her eyes to face his, which were staring right back at her. After a moment of silence, the two broke eye contact and stood up straight.
"What was that?" She brushed off. Heeseung laughed at her cuteness. She was cute when she was embarrassed. He rubbed her head making her hair mess up.
"I'll drive" he said. He grabbed onto her hand catching her by surprise, and brought them towards his parked car.
They got into the car and started dragging going off. Rue looked over his shoulder and secretly glanced at Heeseung.
He looked so perfect while driving the car. His hand was big and veins were visible. He focused on the road. He was perfect.
Heeseung felt her gaze and shifted his head to meet hers. Caught again in embarrassment, she quickly turned her head and pretended to sleep.
Heeseung laughed out loud. She opened her eyes to look at him. She was so embarrassed yet she couldn't help but chuckle a little.
"Oh by the way. Your brother me someone. I think he might be in love, he's already planning a wedding in Vegas."
Rue's eyes widened. She didn't expect her brother would fall for someone that easily. But the again, he was easily stubborn.
"Really!? With who" she asked.
Heeseung shrugged smiling, "not sure, he just met her today while groceries shopping. Said he pushed her into cans of soup" he laughed.
