Rue awoke her eyes to find herself lying in a hospital bed. She looked around confused. But remembered the situation that happened prior to her awakening.
All the stress and confusion furled up in questions all over her mind again. As memories were resurfacing, she figured she was here because she passed out.
"Are you okay?" She heard a voice appear, as the person who spoke came around the curtains of her hospital bed.
Heeseung looked down at Rue with worried eyes. Rue looked away not wanting to make eye contact. But Heeseung came closer and pulled her face to face his eyes, by gently placing to fingers by her chin.
Rue tried not to let the sudden action distract her from the fact she was upset and anxious. "I'm fine" She replied, eyes still not fully gazed into his.
Heeseung sighed and looked down. "I'm glad to hear that" he said. "The doctor said you should be able to leave soon. You collapsed having a panic attack..."
Rue nodded her head in understanding. "I think we should talk" he said. She looked up from the covers of the bed to face his eyes.
"Wait why are you not on your flight?" She asked. "I had to see you" he replied, "I couldn't leave knowing the situation was the way it was."
"What happened, Heeseung? Why is Yunjin not answering any of my calls?"
Heeseung sighed not wanting her to stress anymore about the subject. "I think we should talk somewhere else" he said looking around their surrounding environment, of hospital workers walking around and patients in bed.
Rue nodded and lifted herself to get up. Heeseung placed his hand on her back to help her rise steady off the bed.
Once they were out of the hospital, Heeseung drove him and Rue to his house. Rue thought he would take her to a restaurant or the park. She was surprised he took her to his apartment suite.
"Don't worry, you can sit anywhere. Make yourself comfortable. Would you like anything to drink?" He asked.
Rue shook her head, but Heeseung left towards the kitchen anyways and brought back a cup of water for her.
"Thank you" she said as he passed her a cup of water. They sat in his living room. Heeseung decided to sit on a chair across from Rue to make her feel more comfortable, as she was sitting down on the couch.
