Jay decided to go out to the grocery store and pick up some extra groceries for tonight's meal. Heeseung asked him if he could stay at his place for awhile, and he agreed. Free accommodation and getting to spend time with his best bud, how could he pass that opportunity along.
Jay took a shopping cart and walked around a few aisles. Collecting various ingredients and items that Heeseung did not have at home, as he would normally take out or not eat a proper meal.
He found a shelf that carried pastas. He scanned for his favourite kind. He didn't know the name of the pasta brand, but he knew the packaging. He eventually found it, however there was only one left. He reached out to get it but someone before him grabbed it.
"Um excuse me, I was about to get that" he told the older grandma who had just taken the pasta.
"You snooze you loose," she laughed. Jay felt annoyed. He was fine that the older lady took the pasta, but he wasn't with her attitude. Only causing him to act out in annoyance.
"Ya listen old lady. Thats mine, im taking it," he said as he grabbed onto the pasta trying to pull it out of the older women's grasp.
"You little-" she started screaming. Together they started pulling the pasta back and forth. Not wanting to let the other one win.
Eventually the older women got annoyed and let go of the pasta abruptly. Causing Jay to loose balance and fall backwards, hitting his shopping cart. Which banged into another person, who fell into a stack of tomato sauce cans.
Jay flung up at the sound of someone screaming into a loud crash of cans. He immediately let go of the pasta and ran towards the fallen person.
"Sorry are you okay? Here let me help you," he said as he helped the person knocked down up from the pile of cans.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Oh yea I think so" they replied. It was a female with dark hair and hazel eyes. She fixed up her dress and pushed her hair out of her face. She looked up at Jay, and a moment of silence came through. They locked eyes and were still until they came back to reality.
"Uh... Are you sure? You're not hurt are you?"
The girl giggled lightly, "I'm fine, don't worry. Thank you for helping me up."
