"No, Mom I'm telling you, Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess is the person to be." I tell her, the two of us sat watching Downton Abbey.

"No, I much prefer Cora. Rufus would you be a darling, I feel that if we're going to be watching this it merits crumpets."

"Sure, I'll be right back." he took the tray with the now empty tea pots

"Violet is savage, pure save and she does even need to pull a mean face words and tone are enough.

"Rose! Dan's here!" Rufus called

"Ahh, Date time. I will see you later, have fun okay." I kiss her cheek

"Thank you sweetheart. I will see you later." I jog downstairs and see my husband. I run over and jump on his back

"Whoa." he automatically holds onto my legs and steadies himself "Hello to you too."

"Hi! Did he tell you were he's taking me? He won't say a thing?" I smooch his cheek.

"I have no clue." Rufus told me and I pouted

"Okay, let's go. And Dad good luck." I dropped down and wen to grab my shoes and coat, once I had them on we left. He took me to his Anthropology class, when I found out I thought it was going to be boring that I would be the good wife and smile then lie about it being interesting but it actually was.

"So shall we split the cab ride?"

"No I'm gonna look for more books on the !King Tribe. I will follow you in a little while." I give him a kiss and watch him take off. I Go around the bookstore searching for anything on the !King Tribe.

"Rosie." I stop and turn, coming face to face with Vanessa.

"Hello Vanessa."

"Look, I know you guys aren't talking to me but I think you should know something, I think that there is something going on between Dan and Blair." I laugh "I'm serious."

"Nothing has or ever will go on between them. Blair as only just started calling him a friend."

"I heard about a kiss."

"A rumour i made up to get back at my brother, it pissed him off and I win, they never kissed and will never kiss. Now I'm actually proud of the fact that you were scheming but..."

"I did not have anything to do with what Juliet did. It was just supposed to be a prank the outsiders looking in kind of thing if i knew she was going to go that far I would have said something."

"Coming from the girl who spreads a rumour to piss off her own brother." she retorted and I click my tongue

"Chuck is different what he's done warrants payback. i've changed my mind I am gonna head out." I shoved past her and Got a taxi back to the family apartment.

"Hey, I just ran into Vanessa" I told him "She tried to guilt trip me into what I did to Chuck, that was right after she told me the fake news about you and Blair kissing."

"Wow, just wow."

"Yeah, I know. Hey Eric, where's Serena?" I wonder grabbing some food then sitting down

"She's off causing trouble somewhere. Have you spoken to Blair today?" he asks

"No why?" before he can answer, we see Rufus come down in a outdated leather jacket. Dan chuckles

"Dad, why are you dressed like the Fonz?" Dan questions

"It's my lucky tour jacket." oh that's right he was having lunch with the label. Dan told me earlier

"I take it the lunch with the label went well?"

"Yeah, they want me to have Panic. Name of the band, also what's gripping my insides, over for dinner tomorrow."

"And you wanna be the cool rocker guy." Eric snorts

"Come on I was the cool Rocker guy." he replies

"Yeah but now the penthouse, the art the millionaires wife under house arrest doesn't exactly scream street cred." Eric listed

"I wouldn't put it that way but.." he trailed off coming to sit down "Panic is the real deal."

"Why don't you take them to the loft." i suggest "Keep it casual..."

"and impress them with your gold records." Dan continues

"Yeah, that's a good idea. Will you three come?"

"Yeah we could invite Charlie too." Eric suggests

"That sound like a good idea." I say pointing at him. I giggle just as my phone rings. I defiantly need a new ring tone.

"Hello."

"Mrs Humphrey, this is Andrew Tyler." I leave my food and stand to the side

"Andrew, yes. What can i do for you?"

"Can you meet me downstairs, it concerns your father." he told me

"I'll be right down." I hung up "I'll be back." I head downstairs and meet him in the lobby.

"Thank you for coming down."

"What is this about?"

"Your brother asked me to look into Avery Thorpe and your fathers old office that was burnt down. I gave him a box that your father asked me to keep away. A few hours ago, I was taken off and asked to leave it alone. But I found this." he handed me an envelope "It must have slipped out. I did consider taking it to your brother, but I think it what happened concerns both of you."

"Thank you." he nodded and left. I opened and read the letter. i took out my phone and text Dan that I was going to see my brother. I took a taxi to the Empire and headed up. I walked out and saw Chuck drunk off his ass.

"Come to jab the knife in further?" he grumbles

"Which one would that be Blair or our Dad?" I held up the letter "Andrew Tyler gave me this, told me it slipped out of the box he gave you regarding Avery Thorpe."

"So?"

"You know how much you mean to me but I can't do this anymore. I'm so sorry Avery." I read out loud

"Our father and Avery Thorpe were having an affair." he sat up

"By the sounds of it she was gonna leave him and go back to Russell. Congratulations Chuck, you just ruined Dad's memory." I drop the note and left him
